Hippies & Gypsies (Original Song) - Alyssa Bonagura chords

Hippies and Gypsies is the song about my guitar that I found on the road.
I was on my way to Montana for a gig and we stopped in South Dakota at this tiny little
gas station.
We needed gas.
And this woman at the gas station was like, have you seen the Corn Palace in South Dakota?
And my dad was like, what's that?
And she said, well, it's this big place made out of ears of corn.
And so my dad comes back to the car.
He's like, we should go see the Corn Palace before we leave.
And my mom and I are like, come on, let's just get to the gig.
We gotta go.
I wanna see Montana.
And he goes, no, let's go see it.
So we [N] give in and we go see the Corn Palace.
And next door is a pawn shop.
And my dad is like, we have to go in and see if they have any guitars.
And he knew.
And there was a guitar that had been in there for three years.
It had no scratches on it.
It had never been played.
The original strings, the original case from 1963, all original.
And so my dad said, you gotta buy this guitar.
So I went in my savings account.
I was like, all right, this is how much I have.
Can you give it to me?
And he gave it to me.
And it's the story [G#m] of finding that guitar and how sometimes you just have to go and experience things.
Even if you wanna get somewhere fast, [D] sometimes it's really [B] important to just enjoy [C#] the little
stops along the way.
And that's what that song is about.
