Today I'm here with the Hofner _ _ Ignition violin bass.
The Ignition series represents the most _ affordable _ violin bass in the Hofner range.
But don't let that fool you, this is still an incredible _ instrument, especially for the money.
It's based on the 70s era of violin bass and you've still got a lot of those features that we _ _ know and love about the violin bass.
Like the control panel, for example, with its master volume, master tone.
And then each pickup dealt with individually, with an on-off switch and the rhythm solo switch as well.
It's still a 30-inch scale neck with these _ gorgeous traditional _ _ _ Hofner _ _ tuners.
A matching scratch plate.
_ _ _ The twin humbuckers, it's a spruce top and a maple back and sides.
It's completely hollow, unlike the HCT series with a centre block.
So it's got way more of that super traditional hollow Hofner sound.
