This is [D] amazing.
Here he comes.
Here he comes.
Whoa!
[E] [A]
Riff, come on.
You can't move that.
Riff!
Riff, come on.
[D]
Oh my goodness.
[A] Awesome.
You want to go feed some giraffes?
Yeah!
Okay, let's go [D] feed the giraffes.
Whoa.
[E] What do you think?
[A]
Get all your arm [D] together.
Okay, get that face [E] too.
[B]
[C] [D] [G]
[D] Oh, that's at the zoo?
Zoo day!
[G] [C] [G] Oh, [D] Gallifranco's using a giraffe.
[C] [G]
[D] You know, growing up in Memphis,
Memphis is sort of an underrated [Bb] place.
[F] They tell you to go to Memphis, they tell you to do all the [Bb] obvious [F] tourist stuff.
They may [Bb] not remember to tell you about [F] Shelby Farms,
but it's as [Dm] important to Memphis as Central Park is [F] to New York City.
It's an enormous green space right in the middle of the city.
You can ride bikes, you can take a long walk,
take your dog [F] there, take your kids to the playgrounds, ride horses.
They have skeet shooting, dirt bike [G] track, RV park, pumpkin patch,
farmer's market on the weekends.
The river runs right through the middle of the park,
so you can canoe the river.
I probably could have spent multiple days just [F] enjoying the park.
[C] [Bb]
In our [F] family, our [B] family is amazing.
Hi!
[Bb] [Db] Our family [C] is amazing.
My mama is so sweet, [G]
so [N] is my daddy,
so is my brother, so is my other brother right here.
Although the river is a mess,
I love my [C] family.
[G]
There have been so many moments on this trip
that just, I keep [D] blinking slow.
[G] Just being [C] so grateful for [G] time
with people that I love and in these beautiful places.
[D] I feel like your memory does that with life,
and so my dad always called it [C] making deposits in the memory bank.
He said, you're not going to inherit [Cm] much,
but I made a lot of deposits in the memory [C] bank.
[G] [Am] [E]
What lake is this?
[Db] Let me see.
Look it up.
I think it's called Nickajack Lake.
Oh, that's nice.
I mean, Nickajack Lake is actually pretty far [E] away, but it's close.
Okay.
It's on the other side of the chair.
Creative [Fm] license.
Nickajack Lake.
[Em]
[A]
Like that?
[E] [A]
Got it, [Gb] okay.
One, two, three.

[A] [B] [E]
Had to be wondering what's this [Em] handle for.
He was [A] born with a heart attack
[E] like he do most everyday.
[A] [B] No one knows he wouldn't [A] have it
any [E] other way.
Hey, rivers, oh, rivers,
you're a George Tornado, rivers.
Just like your name, you're [A] making your way [E] back home.
Second verse.
Saw a squirrel, thought it was a monkey Big ol' smile, he said that you were funny
Life's a party when you live like an ice cream cake
Get a candy store with a criminal's grin Shot them running down your chin again
Skipping stones at sunset [A] down that Nick [E] and Jack lake
Hey Rivers, oh Rivers, you're a joy tornado River
Just like your name, you're making your way back home
Hey Rivers, oh Rivers, moving like all those Tennessee rivers
Going [B] through the ocean, making their way [E] back home
[B]
Watching you all, you can run
Moving [A] at slow pace, [B] ain't no fun
Better take the time to say hello
[A] Making new friends wherever you [B]
go
[E] Hey Rivers, oh Rivers, you're a joy [Gb] tornado River
[B] Just like your [E] name, you're making your way back home
Hey Rivers, oh Rivers, moving like all those Tennessee rivers
Going through [B] the ocean, making [A] their way back [E] home
Just like on a road [Gb] trip, making their [E] way back home
[A] Making their way [E] back home
Something like that
Cool!
We should have recorded that on our phones
If my phone's still alive Yeah
