Chords for How to Download SYNTHESIA, Input MIDI Songs, Connect A Keyboard & Get a Free MIDI/USB Wire

In this video I will be showing you how to download Synthesia.
How to download it, how to import your files into it, how to use it, and how to plug in
your keyboard into your computer and play along.
So the first thing you want to do is head over to Google and type in Synthesia.
_ It will be the first one _ and it will take you to this page.
Click download now.
It is free.
Whether you have a Mac or a PC.
I am going to click the Windows installer.
_ [N] It should download.
Click save.
_ _ Now after it is done downloading you want to _ _ _ click run.
_ I agree.
Make sure to click desktop icon.
So it will create an icon on your desktop.
Click next and install.
Now it will take a few seconds to download. _
After it is done downloading it will say close.
Click close.
Now Synthesia is successfully installed.
There it is the icon.
The next thing you want to do is start downloading songs.
Well first you want to do is right click or make a new folder on your desktop.
However you do that on your computer.
Entirely like piano.
_ _ _ Now the folder will be empty because you just made it.
See this folder is empty.
Just keep it on your desktop.
Now you want to head back over to Google and pick a song.
Now I will be showing you a free demonstration Mad World by Gary Jules.
I will type in Mad World MIDI.
M I D I.
Mad World MIDI.
That is like an MP3 but it is a MIDI file.
That is what Synthesia uses to read.
Click search.
_ A bunch of websites will come up.
I trust this website called Hamhamianet.com.
I am going to select it. _

[Bb] _ _ [Eb] It already gives you [N] a preview.
Here is a MIDI file.
Now download the MIDI file.
You go to the MIDI file right here. _ _ _ _
_ [B] Right click.
Click [N] save link as.
_ Now when you save the link as.
Go back to that folder.
Where is it?
Piano songs.
That is what we just made.
And re-title it.
Make sure it says MIDI sequence.
If it does not say MIDI sequence.
MIDI sequence, MIDI format, MIDI whatever.
It has to say MIDI.
_ Alright.
_ So you are going to Mad World.
Click save.
It downloads in like 2 seconds.
_ Also when you download it.
When it says save link as.
It can say save target as.
Download link as.
As long as it says that.
Now what you want to do.
There is Mad World.
See there it is.
It is on. _
[Fm] I will play.
_ [Eb] Now what you want to do now.
Is go ahead [N] and launch Synthesia.
After you open Synthesia.
It should look like this.
First thing you want to do is go to keyboard setup.
Make sure it is on no input.
Follow along on your own.
[E] This is so all the keys will be white.
They will all be white and bright.
It will be much [Eb] easier to see.
Go ahead and click back.
Click play.
Now these are only the sample [N] songs.
That came with the song.
With Synthesia when you download it.
To download the folder you just made.
Click MadsWattsFolders.
Add new watts folder.
Go to desktop.
And there is piano songs.
That is the one we just downloaded Mad World in.
Click watts folder in all sub folders.
Back to song library.
Now you only have to do this one time.
Every time you download a song from now on.
And it saves into that folder.
It will automatically appear on this list.
Now to get Mad World.
Press M on your keyboard.
[Eb] _ And there is Mad [Fm] World.
_ [N] Click enter.
And here all the instruments are replaying.
There is a cello.
_ In the green this is the left hand.
_ [Fm] _ _ _ [B] This is the [G] right hand.
_ _ _ [D] This is the [Fm] main melody that Gary Jules sings.

You can change the colors by pressing this middle button.
We will change the colors.
We should have them green.
We should have this one in all different colors so it will be easier to recognize.
Click and click enter.
Now show all A.D.A. keys. It will mean every key on the keyboard will show. And zoom to a visible song. It will zoom in. Go and click enter. Now the song started [Fm] playing. _ _ [Bb] _ _ Now press space. [N] _ Left and right arrow keys will navigate through. Fast forward. Page up and page down will spread the notes. This will be very helpful. _ Down arrow key. Press down and the speed will go down. [Fm] _ _ _ _ _ _ [Ab] _ _ [Bb] Press up to make it go faster. You can make it go up too. _ [Fm] _ _ [Bb] That is [N] ridiculous. [Fm] Now let's learn the song. _ [C] 40% or even [G] 10% if you [Ab] are on a 5 major chord. _ [N] Say you just want to learn the right hand. Go here and turn off the left hand. Click enter. _ _ _ [Ab] Here is the left hand. A flat, G, A [Db] flat, F, G. [Dm] _ _ _ _ _ _ [G] _ _ [D] The first thing you need to [N] do to play along with your keyboard is download the driver for your keyboard. If you don't know how to do that, click the link that comes up here in red. _ _ You want to make sure you have a wire that looks like this. Or similar to this. Make sure you plug it into the back of your keyboard with a hole that looks like this. Once you download your driver, go back and click Synthesia. Go to Keyboard Setup. _ The name of your keyboard should come up here. After I download my driver, it should give you instructions right here. Just plug it in. _ _ [G] Click test. _ [C] _ _ _ It [N] should give you a preview. Go back and click the song you want to play. For example, I'm [Gb] going to show you Remember the Name by [G] Fort Minor. Right _ _ _ [Cm] here. Remember the [Gb] Name by Fort Minor. _ I can't play all of this. It's impossible. I'm just going to [Cm] play this part. _ _ _ _ [B] To play that, simply click U Play. _ _ [N] I'm going to play that. Right here.
