Hey guys, it's kill suits right here
I thought I'd make a tutorial on how to use Melodyne to
to extract vocals from tracks I
Was doing this remix with my friend Reed
The original acapella didn't come with that little
In the beginning the sound right here
[Bm] So [F#] what I did was I extracted it using Melodyne with using the original [F] the original
[C] [G]
[G#] I
This technique I'm about [F#] to show you usually works with [F] things that don't have too much instruments in the background
This just has a piano my friend did it with a song that had just a guitar
[F#] vocals on top of it
About to show you how to do this.
Let's do it all
Go here
So start from the beginning
[F] Trash right over to Melodyne
[Am] [G]
[F#] Good enough that render.
All right.
See so now it shows you the individual notes and you could kind of
[G] [Dm] To tell these are [F#] piano notes.
So what we're gonna do is we're gonna find the [A] vocal Oh
[F#m] [G#] [F#]
Delete it from here just to be safe.
Now you're left with this
[A] [Bm]
[F] See so we just delete these and there you go, there's your book
[A]
[G] Awesome.
Alright, now what we're going to do to get those out, we're going to enter the track,
turn on resampling.
[G#]
[E] There we [A]
go.
[F#] Turn on T, drop it in, hit delete.
We don't need you.
And there you go.
[A] There's your vocal.
[C] [B] If [Em] you guys want to check out my track, you guys can check it out.
The link's going to be in the description.
[F#] It's a remix of Sorry, [F] obviously.
I'll just preview it for you guys.
[G] [Em]
[Am]
[F] [G]
[Em] [Am] [F]
I hope you guys enjoyed it, and I hope [F#] it's useful and helpful for you.
I'm going to be posting more videos soon.
I'm going to try to make it consistent, but I got school and stuff.
