Hey guys, it's your [D] girl Helen and welcome back to the channel.
[C#m] I hope you guys are doing great.
[E] [D] In this video [C#m] we're going to check out how [C] we're going to take [G#m] the [Bm] Telecaster, one of
the world's most [C#] versatile, flexible guitars and we're going to make it even twice as nice,
twice as [F#] flexible, twice as versatile.
So how do we do that you may ask?
Well we use a three way switch.
This is small but mighty.
Do not look down on it.
It's [C#] amazing, amazing invention.
This is a six way Telecaster switch.
[F#] So instead of the regular three tones, we [A#m] now have six.
[F#] What I love about this is that it is [G#] visually undetectable when installed.
So it completely maintains [C#m] the authentic design, appearance [G#] and condition of any guitar which is amazing.
You wouldn't even know that it's been installed because it just looks like a regular Telecaster switch.
It delivers an incredible tonal flexibility [F#] in a completely intuitive, familiar package.
Awesome.
[B] You might be looking at it like it's expensive but it's not.
For its value it's worth it.
This is about [C#] $40-$45.
Really worth it for the value that this thing [N] provides.
It also comes with a diagram and instructions on how to use it.
You can see the possible tones that you can get here.
Very detailed diagram.
It's really clear because it matches the switch and it's pretty intuitive to use and install.
But if you cannot install it yourself, I would [A#m] suggest you go to a guitar tech to help you with it.
This is made in England by NSF.
Okay so here's a look at the switch installed on this Tele.
As you can see nothing looks out of place.
It looks the same.
It actually feels the same.
There is no visible difference just by looking at [C#] it.
You have your regular three positions just like your traditional Telecaster.
So if you want to [A#m] just leave it and just play it like a normal Telecaster, you can just do it.
The neck, the neck and the bridge [N] and the bridge pickup.
All you have to do to get the extra tones is just like push it [C#] up like this.
You can actually hear the click when you push it up.
So when it's up you get the extra tones.
When it's down like this you get the traditional Telecaster.
And it feels like the normal switch actually.
So up [G#m] extra tones, down regular Telecaster.
The upper row is basically the extra tones and then the lower bank is definitely your regular Telecaster.
This is an amazing idea.
It is well thought out.
It is tactile.
I really really like it.
Okay let's do something funky.

[Em] [E] My final thoughts.
I think that this [B] is a brilliant idea.
I'm a Tele girl so this is like the holy grail for me.
To get extra tones on my Telecaster.
Genius.
You wouldn't even know that anything changed.
The switch just looks like your good old traditional [C#] Telecaster.
It's so responsive and easy to use.
You don't need any push or pull.
You don't need to do any extra thing.
All you need to do is just click, click, click, [F] click, click.
They also have ones for Strat which is like a 10 way switch for Strat.
They have Les Paul type ones.
It's a serious stuff.
You have a [A] variety of tonal options that you can just choose from in just one [B] click which
is just amazing.
I love it, I love it, I love it.
Thank you so much for watching guys.
I will leave a link to the freeway switch down in the description.
So if you want to check it out or purchase that would be fantastic.
