[Cm] Hello everyone and welcome to HD piano.
This is Dan here with a lesson on changes by xxxtentacion
And we're gonna learn pretty much everything in this first video
And it sounds like this ready and [E]
[Abm]
[E]
[Abm]
and then later in the song you do it [E] this way
[Db] [Abm]
[B] [E]
[Db] [Abm]
[E] All right
The rest of this lesson including melody version which I know a lot of you guys will be interested in is that HD piano.com
Real quick question before I break this part down
XXXTentacion I learned that is the correct pronunciation after we were lambasted in Dion's video
He is a very sad vulnerable.
I guess you could say even depressed writer
I want to know if there are any other artists out there that are writing with this sort of vulnerability
Drop me a comment below
So this is middle C right here and our left hand starts on E above it right hand is on B and E
This B right here is gonna be our constant that doesn't stop for the entire song.
We're just playing this constant B
Now there are two exceptions a couple times that does pause so to do two
Three and everything pauses not just that B.
How about without those?
Outside of those two exceptions.
It's constant.
So we're plugging through
two three
[Dbm] Four and you can leave that top voice ringing through if you'd like
[E] Although it's just as fine to go and let the pedal carry it.
My pedal is pressed down now.
I [Abm] would lift here
So [E] we have that bell tone on top and outside of that
it's just B's on the index finger and the left hand is playing E and
[Db] Then C sharp [Abm] and then G sharp and the [E] chords that are implied.
There are E major
[Dbm] C sharp minor 7 [Ab] and G minor
[E] Baby, I don't understand this you're changing.
I can't stand it
My heart [Abm] can't take this damage
You can't [E] stand it
Maybe I don't understand this you can hear how the vocal fits right on top, right?
[Abm]
[E] All right.
So that is most of the song on [Bm] piano.
Really really simple really [E] really repetitive
Now it does kind of beef up a bit toward the end.
We want a fatter sound
I showed you this out front of the lesson and here it is.
So we're just expanding that
Main main riff part to a wider form.
So we have double E's in the left hand and EBE in the right hand
And meanwhile that B is gonna keep chugging along
[Db] Our next voicing is this C sharp minor 7 C sharps in the bottom C sharp and B in the top
And now the pinky is gonna carry that B
Now here's a stretch that only a few of [Abm] you will be able to reach but it's G sharp to B in the right with G
Sharps on the bottom if you can't reach it.
It's just fine to do this
But it would really sound true to the recording if you could play this
The alternative would [Ab] be playing your left hand here instead of your thumb, but I like this really [Abm] low rumbling sound we get
and then one two
[Gb] three we descend
Through F sharp on beat four [E] and then we repeat the riff
[Db] [Abm] [E] Okay, so this part is definitely harder than the first part.
It's just it requires more fingers
So let's play it really slowly ready and
[Db]
[Abm] one two
three through F [B] sharp [E] repeat
Okay,
[Db] [Abm]
[B]
[E] very good.
That's everything you need to learn to know the piano part to the song now if you are looking to play the
[Gm] The vocal melody we're gonna do that in the next video and the rest of this lesson is at HD piano calm
