Hello guys, this is Amosdollmusic and in today's lesson I'm going to teach you how to play
the Detroit Become Human intro theme.
So it's pretty nice stuff.
It goes like this.
I'll give you a preview of the motive.
This is what we're going to learn.
[Em] Check it out.
[G]
[C] [Em]
[G]
[C] [Em]
Repeat.
[G]
[C] [Em]
[G]
[C] [Em]
Okay, it's very beautiful.
So let's go ahead and learn it.
Here we go.
So, first of all, we're going to learn the left hand because the left hand is repeating 32.
Yes, that's right.
32 note motive that's repeated twice.
It might be a lot of notes but it's actually not as hard as you think it is.
There's a pattern to it.
So let's learn the left hand first.
So here we go.
So first of all, we group it in groups of 4 notes.
It's like 4 notes played twice every single time.
So it's like 8, 8, 8, 8.
That's how we do it.
So here we go.
The first group goes like this.
It starts on the E just above middle C.
So it goes E, down to B, [G] down to G, back up to
[B] B and repeat those 4 notes [Em] again for the second time.
[B] That's the first [E] group.
[Em] So
[B] that's the first group of 8 notes.
The next group of 8 notes is another 4 note pattern.
It [Bm] goes D, [Em] B, G, [B] B played twice.
[G] [B] So that's the second [G] group.
[B] So that's the second group.
So far, the first 2 groups will be played back to back [Em] like this.
[G] [B] Like that.
It's very even like that.
And then the third group [C] is these 8 notes.
So it's a 4 note pattern.
It's [G] C, B, G, [B] B.
Repeat [C] that again.
[Em] C, B, G, [B] B.
Those [A] are the notes for [C] the third group.
C, B, G, B.
[B] Just like that.
So back to back, the 3 [C#m] groups we've learnt so far will [Em] be played like this.
[G] Like [C] [B] that.
And then the fourth group, the last group, [C] [B] continues like this.
It goes [G] B, G, [E] [G] E, G and then repeat.
B, G, E, G.
Like that.
It's kind of like an E minor pattern there.
So here one more time.
So this fourth group is [Em] B, G, E, G.
[G]
So yeah, the 4 groups back to [A] back will be played like this.
Remember it.
[Em]
[G] [C]
[Em] Okay.
[G] Okay, you must remember this left hand, this pattern, these 32 notes because in both parts
that we're going to learn, it's just going to be [E] the same left hand pattern the whole way.
Okay, [Em] so yeah.
[G]
[C] [Em]
[G]
[C] [Em]
Yeah, [G] so I want to get this 30 note pattern very smooth so we can focus on the right hand melody.
Okay, [Em] the right hand melody is actually pretty simple stuff.
Not much happening.
It's playing octaves.
If you can't reach an octave, just play individual notes.
Just like if I say E, [F] if you can't do an octave, just do the higher E or the lower
E.
It doesn't really matter.
Okay, so yeah, that's that.
Anyways, yeah, the two hands, not two hands, the right hand for the first [Gm] part goes like this.
Starts on the E here, so middle C, go up an octave C, so the E and octave.
Okay, so E, D, [D]
C [B] and then [A] B, A.
So 5 notes for the first part for the right hand.
One more time for the 5 notes, it goes E, [G] D, [D]
C [B] and then [A] B, A.
Like that for the right hand.
[Em] So that's the right hand for the first part.
Once you get that, okay, this is how we put the two hands together.
So the first note, so it goes together, together, [Bm] and the next group and the D together, [G]
and
the next group and [C] the C together, and [C#] the next group [G] by itself here, and then the B
and B together, A [A] and the E together.
Like that.
Okay, [G] so the first three groups correspond to the first three notes on the right hand,
and then the last two notes on [Em] the right hand correspond to the second half of it, of the fourth group.
Okay, so yeah, one more time, it goes like this.
Together,
[G] together, [C] together,
[Em] together, [A] together, like that.
Okay, so it's kind of like a faster change near the end.
One last [Em] time, so together, [G] together, [C] together, [Em] together, [A] together, like that.
Okay, [G] moving on to the second and last part, so the right hand goes like this, it [Em] goes
B, [D#] A, [E]
B, down to E, [F#] and then F sharp.
So like that, so those are the 5 notes [Bm] here.
One more time for the 5 notes for the second part, so it goes B, [Dm] and then A, [E] B, down to
[F#] E, and then F sharp.
That's the right hand.
[Em] Once you get that, two hands together, it goes like this, so B and E together, [B] A [D] and
D together, [G]
B and D together, [B] E and [Em] C together, B [G] and F sharp together, like that.
Okay, so if you were lost just then, remember the left hand is just the same pattern I told
you in the beginning, the 32 note.
Remember that, that you have to learn the left [F#m] hand pattern first before anything else,
because you want to get that smooth, so you can play the right hand as well.
So, [Em] one more time, so it goes like this, together, [D] together, [G] together, [C] together, [Em] [G] together.
Just like that, and that is the second part.
So back to back, the two parts will just be played like this, check it [Em] out.
[G]
[C] [Em]
[G]
[Em]
Just repeat it, make it very expressive.
[G]
Beautiful.
[C] [Em]
[G]
[Em]

the Detroit Become Human intro theme.

This is what we're going to learn.
[Em] Check it out.

[G]

[G]

If you can't reach an octave, just play individual notes.

This is what we're going to learn.
[Em] Check it out.
_ _ _ _ [G] _ _

_ _ _ _ _ _ [G] _ _
_ _ [C] _ _ _ _ [Em] _ _
_ Repeat.
_ _ _ [G] _ _
_ _ [C] _ _ _ _ [Em] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [G] _ _
_ _ [C] _ _ _ [Em] _ _ _
Okay, it's very beautiful.
So let's go ahead and learn it.
Here we go.
So, first of all, we're going to learn the left hand because the left hand is repeating _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 32.
_ Yes, that's right.
_ [B] That's the first [E] group.
[Em] So _ _
_ [B] that's the first group of 8 notes.
The next group of 8 notes is another 4 note pattern.
It [Bm] goes D, [Em] B, G, [B] B played twice.
[G] _ _ [B] _ So that's the second [G] group.
_ _ [B] So _ that's the second group.
So far, the first 2 groups will be played back to back [Em] like this. _
_ [G] _ _ _ _ [B] Like that.
It's very even like that.
And then the third group [C] is these 8 notes.
So it's a 4 _ note pattern.
_ _ [G] _ Like _ [C] _ _ _ _ [B] that.
_ _ [G] _
So yeah, the 4 groups back to [A] back will be played like this.
Remember it.
[Em] _
_ _ [G] _ _ _ _ [C] _ _
_ [Em] _ _ _ Okay.
[G] Okay, you must remember this left hand, this pattern, these 32 notes because in both parts
that we're going to learn, it's just going to be [E] the same left hand pattern the whole way.
Okay, [Em] so yeah.
_ _ [G] _
_ _ _ _ [C] _ _ _ [Em] _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [G] _ _
_ _ [C] _ _ _ [Em] _ _ _
Yeah, [G] so I want to get this 30 note pattern very smooth so we can focus on the right hand melody.
Okay, [Em] the right hand melody is actually pretty simple stuff.

Starts on the E here, so middle C, go up an octave C, so the E and octave.
Okay, so E, _ D, [D] _
C [B] and then [A] B, A.
So 5 notes for the first part for the right hand.
One more time for the 5 notes, it goes E, [G] D, [D] _
C [B] and then [A] B, A.
Like that for the right hand.
[Em] So that's the right hand for the first part.
Once you get that, okay, this is how we put the two hands together.
So the first note, so it goes together, together, _ _ _ [Bm] and the next group and the D together, [G] _ _
and
the next group and [C] the C together, _ _ _ and [C#] the next group [G] by itself here, and then the B
and B together, A [A] and the E together.
Like that.
Okay, [G] so the first three groups correspond to the first three notes on the right hand,
and then the last two notes on [Em] the right hand correspond to the second half of it, of the fourth group.
Okay, so yeah, one more time, it goes like this.
Together, _ _ _
[G] together, _ _ _ [C] together, _
_ [Em] _ _ _ together, [A] together, like that.
Okay, so it's kind of like a faster change near the end.
One last [Em] time, so together, _ _ [G] together, _ _ [C] together, _ _ [Em] _ together, [A] together, like that.
Okay, [G] moving on to the second and last part, so the right hand goes like this, it [Em] goes
B, _ [D#] A, [E]
B, down to E, [F#] and then F sharp.
So like that, so those are the 5 notes [Bm] here.
One more time for the 5 notes for the second part, so it goes B, [Dm] and then A, [E] B, down to
[F#] E, and then F sharp.
That's the right hand.
[Em] Once you get that, two hands together, it goes like this, so B and E together, _ _ _ [B] A [D] and
D together, [G]
B and D together, _ [B] E and [Em] C together, _ _ _ B _ [G] and F sharp together, like that.
Okay, so if you were lost just then, remember the left hand is just the same pattern I told
you in the beginning, the 32 note.
Remember that, that you have to learn the left [F#m] hand pattern first before anything else,
because you want to get that smooth, so you can play the right hand as well.
So, [Em] one more time, so it goes like this, together, _ _ _ [D] together, [G] _ together, [C] together, _ _ [Em] _ _ _ [G] together.
Just like that, and that is the second part.
So back to back, the two parts will just be played like this, check it [Em] out.
_ _ _ [G] _ _
_ _ [C] _ _ _ _ [Em] _ _

_ Just repeat it, make it very expressive.
[G] _
_ Beautiful.
[C] _ _ _ _ [Em] _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ [G] _

Okay, it's very beautiful.

Here we go.
So, first of all, we're going to learn the left hand because the left hand is repeating _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 32.
_ Yes, that's right.
32 note motive that's repeated twice.

So it goes E, down to B, [G] down to G, back up to

_ _ [G] _ Like _ [C] _ _ _ _ [B] that.
_ _ _ _ _ _ [G] _ _
_ _ [Em] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ Just repeat it, make it very expressive.
[G] _
_ Beautiful.
[C] _ _ _ _ [Em] _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ [G] _
_ _ _ [Em] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ Yeah, and that's it.
