Anyway, let's get right into the lesson.
Hello guys, this is Amosdollmusic and in today's lesson, I'm going to teach you how to play
Elmo Chugs Along like a train.
It should be a pretty easy and simple and fast lesson because there's this bass [Eb] line
pattern on the left hand.
So it goes like this.
I'll give you a preview.
Check it out.
[Gb]
[Bb] [Eb] Alright, so [Ab] yeah, not difficult.
You can see it's mostly left hand and the right [Db] hand you can do this decoration thing
there as well.
But anyways, I'll show you the notes right now, teach you all the notes.
So go to the lowest E flat on your piano.
[Eb] So this is middle C.
So if some of you guys don't have a full-sized piano, it's alright.
Just go and find the lowest E flat on your piano.
So yeah, if your E flat only goes up here, you can play this E flat.
But you can just keep going down and find the lowest E flat to play.
So E flat twice, [Gb] two G flats, [Ab] and then A flat, G flat, [Bb] A flat, B flat, B flat back down to
E flat, E flat, G flat, A flat, B flat.
And [Ab] that's it for the left hand.
And let's learn it once again.
[Eb] So it goes E flat, E flat, [Gb] G flat, G flat, [Ab] A flat, G flat, A [Bb] flat, B flat, B flat, [Eb] E
flat, E flat, G flat, [Bb] A flat, B flat.
There you [Eb] go.
Alright, so like this when it's faster.
[Bb] [Gb]
[Bb] You can keep your fingers on top of the five keys, well these few keys so you don't have
to move your hand at all.
It's just [Eb] playing when you need to play it.
[Gb]
[Gb] [Bb] So you have fifth [Eb] finger, pinky, on the E flat, third on the G [Ab] flat, second on the A
[Bb] flat, and first finger, thumb on the B flat.
[Eb] So yeah, [Bb]
[Ab] make that simple.
So once you get the left hand, the right hand, all you need to do is just play [Abm] A flat, G
flat on a higher part of the piano.
If you can't reach an octave, it's fine, [Ab] just do the individual notes.
You can be like
Alright, because some of you might not have big enough hands, so you just do the individual notes.
If you have big enough hands as octaves, that would be great.
So very simple, you don't even need to put the hands together because left hand plays
and the right hand comes in.
So like this.
[Gb] [Bbm] Right hand comes in.
[Gb]
Repeat.
[Bb] [Gb]
And there you go.
Super easy tune to learn.
So [N] I hope you enjoyed this lesson by the way.
