I've got awesome stuff to help you in the link below this box, and I really appreciate you checking that stuff out
I really really do but in the meantime.
We'll zoom in I'm gonna break this song down for you
So you can check it off the list here.
We go this song's based in G
And it uses that classic what we call that we call them six
In guitar it's this kind of thing
It
[Em] helps if you can hear it
[F] Right like in soul [Bm] man or?
[Am] [G]
[Gb] [G] All that kind of stuff.
It's got a familiar sound to it a classic bluesy kind of sound
[F] So [Em]
[D] [E] [G] [Ab]
check it out we're [G] gonna
Slide up to the ninth fret on the D string with our middle finger this one right here
[Gb] or the one between the lines Ah
[Em] Just like that so we're sliding up to that nine
index finger
Goes [E] to the eight of the B string and we're just kind of letting the middle finger mute
That G [Gb] string that's in between
[G]
And we're you know trying to [Ab] pluck them individually
[G]
So we're skipping over the G string
Okay, and then we do the exact same thing a whole [Abm] step down
[Dm]
So that would be [E] sorry it's kind of screwed up middle finger on the seventh fret of the D index on the sixth of the [F] B
[Em] So we got
Nine and eight
[Gb] [F] seven and six
Next we'll do the middle finger to the fifth fret
[G]
But it's [Eb] not
That doesn't sound right does it [Em] no
So this time they're both on the same fret so we're gonna use our ring finger on
The fifth fret of the B and middle finger on the fifth fret of the D string
Okay, so
[G] Nine and eight
[F] Seven and six
[Em] five and five
[Gm]
five and three
Little weird, but we're gonna just slide now.
We switched our ring finger sliding up to the fifth of the D
so we can get [Ab] that third fret of the B, and it's coming [G] from
[Fm] G chord [Gm] and then
[G]
Right
[E] [G]
[F]
[Em] [Gm]
Now there's a few different ways to do that lick you know I just learned it by ear
It's potentially has a capo or drop D
There's some different things that I was hearing, but this would be the [E] easiest and best [Bb] way
[G] If [Gm] you just want to have some fun
sixth fret to the third
It's also first fret on the a
[G]
To the third you could do it either way so
[F] [Em]
[Gm]
[Em] [F]
[Em]
[Fm] [Gm] [G]
[E] So then we're gonna play a G bar chord
But it's kind of good as a power chord [B] so you can get your middle finger there, and if you [G] hit it
It's okay, but we kind of want to
Mute that from the bar chord.
We don't want G [Gm] minor
Definitely don't want that
That's kind of good or more power chord
so we [Ab] got G then down to [F] F and
Then C, [Bb] which you could do this one.
It's also first right on the a [G] to the third you could do it either way so
[F] [Em]
[F] [Gm]
[Em] [F]
[Em]
[Gm] [G]
[E] So then we're gonna play a G bar chord
But it's kind of good as a power [B] chord so you can get your middle finger there, and if [E] you hit it
[Gm] [G]
[Ab] So then we're gonna play a G bar chord
But it's kind of good as a power chord so you can get your [B] middle finger there, and if [G] you hit it
It's okay, but we kind of [Gb] want to
Mute that from the [G] bar chord.
We don't [Gm] want G minor.
We definitely don't [G] want that
That's kind of good or more power chord
We got [Ab] G then down to [F] F and [Ab] then C.
Which you could do [C] this way
[G]
Or you could play C with the same voicing as
[Cm] The G and F all the way up here to the eighth fret which that root
Is a [G] C so we got G [D] G G [F] G F
[C] C
[G]
G starts over on G
[F] [C]
[G] C G so that's the first, but then when [Ab] it's
Instead of the F [Gb] you you [B] exchange that F for a D chord [G] so you got G
[D]
Play [Ab] a D right here.
I'm playing a D power [D] chord right here, so [E] like I said [G] you got this G
[F] [C]
[G] Anyway you know
G [F] [C] and
[G] then with the chorus, it's just [D] G D
[C]
C
G [G] if we're only using one voicing that's the [D] third fret
10th fret for [C] D
8th fret [G] for C G.
So those are the two parts [Ab] okay, so we've got that intro
[G] [F] Then [Em]
[Gm] [G] we've got the two different parts for that then there's a bridge, and it's actually really [Bbm] fun
Because it's not hard
[Dbm] [Am]
[E]
So we use the same voicing with these two fingers
And we start it's another bluesy kind of thing middle finger is on the seventh of the G
[Bbm] Index is on the six of the B, and you hit those two
Then a half step [Dbm] down
Which is a bluesy thing?
Then [E] all the way down
second fret first fret which is
