Hello guys, this is AmosdollMusic and in today's lesson I'm going to teach you how to play
this nice song called Go Farther In Lightness.
I'll give you a preview of what you're going
to learn in today's lesson.
It's this section.
Go like this.
[D] [Bm]
[D] [G] [D]
Okay, that's what we're going to learn.
Let's learn that right now.
It's not hard to learn,
it's just a pretty quick lesson.
Right hand starts on the D here, middle C, go up an octave
C, D right here.
So it goes D, [Bm] up to F sharp, up to [Db] A, B.
[G] Then it goes down to D, up to
high [Em] D, B.
So that's the first part.
We break it up to two parts in total so it's easier
to learn.
One more time, it goes like this.
It goes [Bm] D, F sharp, [Em] A, B, [Em] down to D, up to
B, D, B.
And that's it for the right hand.
Once you get that first part, left hand we
have one, two, three chords here.
[D] The first chord is the second version of D major which
is A, D, F sharp.
And then the second chord is the first inversion of [Gbm] F sharp minor which
is A, C sharp, F sharp.
You can add an extra A at the top if you want.
And then the third
chord is B minor 7, which is [Bm] B, D, F sharp, A.
I just like to add an extra note on that
first inversion of A minor chord because of that change from that second to third chord.
But anyway, it's up to you, it doesn't really matter.
So one more time, the third chord
[D] is the second inversion of D major, first inversion of F sharp minor [Gbm] with optional
A at the top, and then the B minor 7 [Bm] four note chord.
With that in mind, the turn together
goes like this.
Right hand starts [D] on the D, F sharp, the next chord together, the next
chord by itself, right hand comes in, B and [Bm] next chord together.
So that's that for the
first part.
Moving on to the second and last part, right hand continues, goes [E] B, A, F sharp,
E, [Bb] D, [A] and then four D's, 1, 2, 3, 4, [Bb]
B, [Ab] A.
And that's it for the right [Eb] hand.
One more
time, it goes like this, B, A, F [C] sharp, E, D, D, [Bm] D, D, [A] B, A, and that's it for the right
hand.
Left hand we have 1, 2, 3, 4 chords, the four chords are, ok, [B] second inversion
of [D] D major again which is A, D, F sharp, and then this is a four note chord, that is G
[G] major 7, which is G, B, D, F sharp.
And then the third chord is D major with G bass, it's
a four note chord, it's an interesting chord, [D] G, A, D, F sharp.
And then the fourth chord
is D major, D, F sharp, A.
So with those four chords in mind, the second inversion of D
major, [G] G major 7, and then we have this D major with G bass, [D] and D major.
Interesting
stuff, with that in mind, the two hands together, it goes [C] like this, B and the [D] chord together,
A and the G major [G] 7 together, next chord by itself, right hand [D] comes in, [Bm] after B, D major
by [D] itself, like that.
One more time, it [D] goes, together, [G] together, [D] here, here, and that's
it.
Ok, so back to back, the two parts will be played like this, check it out.
[Bm]
[D] [G]
[D] Like that,
and afterwards you can make more improvisations to it, but it's a pretty calm song, you don't
really have to improvise much, you can actually just play the chord and melody and it sounds
like the original.
But you can still play [A] the main counting, you can do [Bm]
[D]
that, or else
you can even add arpeggios if you want, but you don't really need it, the arpeggio is
not really necessary for this one.
[Bm]
[G] [D]
You can if you want, like that, it's up to you.
So,
a lot of freedom, [B] because once you [C] learn the melody and chords in the song, you can do
[A] anything with it, just with [Abm] like, decorations and improvisations based on the chords.
