What's up, everybody?
It's time for another tutorial
This is my second tutorial ever.
It's not that common of a song but
It's requested by MDC te f05
And the song is called my rifle
My rifle my pony and me
By Dean Martin and Rick Nelson from an old movie Rio Bravo
He said he was gonna he was learning it to play for his great-grandpa and the rest of the family
So, you know, I mean family means a lot to me.
So I thought I would help him out
So here we go.
If you ever want any other requests put a below send me a message like he did
Okay
[Ab]
So it consists of three chords
AC
[C] [Am]
And a [G] g7
So first I'm gonna break it down, okay [B] first
I'm gonna show you the chords [N] that I'm assuring strong pandered and I'm just gonna play it for you guys
So, you know, so let me show you
[Ebm] [B] So the first [Am] chord is a [C] C
[G] That's what it looks like.
[Ebm] [E] So pretty much
This is [Eb] the first string right here.
[E] And this is the sixth string.
These are [Db] frets right here
So, let me just show you first a C you're gonna put your pointer finger on the first [C] fret of the second string [Cm] like so
then you're gonna put [B] your
Middle finger [E] on the second string of the fourth string
[A] [E] And you're gonna put your ring finger on the fifth [C] string third fret
so we [Eb] got
open
[C] Third fret second fret open first fret zero.
I should sound like this
That's a C right there
[Dm] If you don't know how to play a C the simple way is point your [E] finger on the second fret
[Cm] Second string and you play [C] those three strings
[B] It doesn't sound as good.
But if you don't know how to play it, then if you're a beginner, then there you go
And F [F] looks like this
[Eb] Typically you'd [N] bar this first fret with your whole finger
You would put your middle [A] finger on the second fret of the third string
[C] You'd put your ring finger on the fifth string third fret and your pinky [F] finger on the fourth string third fret
and it should sound like that all together, but
[N] That's a lot of it's hard for a lot of people so what I recommend is
Keeping [E] the same structure and pointing putting your pointer finger on
the [C] second string first fret and
If you can
[E] Wrap your thumb around and put that on the this string right here
The sixth string and the first [Eb] fret that might be hard for you too.
So you can just [Am] go all open
like that doesn't sound [F] as good but
[Ab] But it's same thing if you can't [B] play any of those then I would in your beginner put your pointer finger
first [Cm] fret second string
[E] Middle [A] finger second fret third string and
ring finger [Eb] third fret [F] fourth string and
You strum those four string it might [Am] not sound as good once again, but for you to start
[D] The last chord is a g7 which sounds and looks [B] like [G] like this
This is a G
So these two are still covered.
It's just you covering [Eb] the string too.
So first [Fm] fret first string
Middle [Ebm] finger on
the second [B] fret fifth string and
ring finger third fret [G] third on sixth string
So it should look like this
[Em] So altogether we got a C and
[C] [F] F [Em] and
[G] G 7
Okay.
Now the picking [Eb] for this is pretty simple.
Let [E] me just show you it
[N] Okay, [Ebm] the strumming is
going to go
[Db] Brown Brown
So
[F] that's down down up down up down up so
[C] [Db] Okay, so now let me put it all [B] together for you [Eb] and
This is how It goes
I'm not gonna sing it cuz I don't really know how to sing it, but it's gonna go
[C]
[G]
[C] [F]
[C] [G]
[C]
[G] [C]
[F] [C] [G]
[C]
[F] [C]
[G] [C]
And
[G]
[C] That's how the whole song goes, [N] okay
So, I hope you guys liked that
Once again, if you want more requests, let me know.
