Hey, what's up you guys Marty Schwartz here with Marty music
Thank you so much for the continued support gonna break down the Pink Floyd
classic another brick in the wall part 2
There's also a solo coming as well.
Thanks again, and let's get to it.
All right
We're gonna start with a D minor bar chord
So we bar the fifth fret a minor looking shape there, and then we have this rhythm
And so I'm doing it down up, and [E] then there's you got to think of
Any and a two and a three and a four [Dm] and you think of that underneath
So it's bum bum da [N] da da da da da da da da da da da
[Dm]
And the strumming can kind of you can focus on the top strings here
You don't have to get that there's a line going on underneath it.
That's the [E] vocal line
[F]
[E] [Dm] [F] [E]
Very easy five seven eight seven [F] five seven eight [Dm] seven
[E] [F] [E] [D] [E]
[E] [Dm] So
[G]
next and
We're once again one e and a two e and a three and a four e and a kind of you know
Paint brushing it there on a G major chord
I'm playing it up here
So an a shape
barred on the 10th fret and
It goes like this one e and two e and a three and a four e and a one e and a two e and a three
And a four e and a three and a three and a four e and a two e and a da da da [Dm] da da
So you [G] count one e and a two e and a three and a four e and a that was one measure and that?
Section is four measures so four times you count one e and a two e and a three and a four e and a so
You get this and then right back to the D minor
two
three
four
Leave those [Dm] kids alone
[E] [Dm] [A]
[G] [F] [N] So there's this really cool line [Dm] that happens here and
it starts with
the ring finger and pinky on the 10th fret of the high e and
This is following D Dorian
[Am] Or the C major scale
[G] [F] So [Em] [Dm] [F] [Em] [Am] [Dm]
we start with these two fingers here on the 10th fret the index finger is going to be behind it on
The 8th fret of the high e so you go like this
So [Am] [Dm] it's like on off on
So
[Am] [D] [Am] then with the pinky off you hit it twice done done so [Dm]
[Am] one more [Dm] time
[Am] [G] so leave those [Dm] kids alone
[Am] So [N]
[G] then we're gonna move down and we're gonna play
Eighth fret of the B and seventh fret of the high e and go da da da and a trick is when I'm doing this chord
For instance I'm letting my middle finger kind of the meat of it
Touch that G string a bit just to mute it.
You know for my strumming
So [A#] because I'm just aiming for those top two strings so and on this one my ring finger is doing it
[F] [Dm] [Am] [Dm] [Am]
[G] There's a quick open
[F]
Which is just like a G chord, so it's the open D G and B string
It's really fast
[Dm] [Em] Sorry [Dm]
and [Am] [G] [F]
so from [Dm] there
[F]
F bar chord
And I'm just gonna go to a C up here, and there's there is a guitar.
That's going
[C]
[Dm]
[F] [C] So
[Dm] [F] So [C] F C [Dm] back to the original rhythm
I'm sorry
[G]
Alright, [E] [Dm] [Am]
[G] [F] [C]
[Dm]
[F] [C]
[Dm] [G] thanks again.
