Life We Live by Project [F#] Patz on the piano.
Very beautiful instrumental.
I'll give you a preview before we start learning it.
So once you learn this lesson, you can pretty much play, sing, rap and just improvise on it.

So break it up into two parts, it's easy to learn.
The first part, right [G] hand starting on the G sharp up here.
Middle C, C up for reference, go up an octave, C up to the G sharp is where we start.
So we have G sharp [F#] up to B, down to F sharp, [E] E, F sharp, G sharp, B, [Bm] F sharp.
That's it for the right hand for the first part.
Alright, let's learn it once again.
So it [E] goes G sharp up to B, [F#] down to F sharp, [E] E, F sharp, G sharp, B, [F#] down to F sharp.
That's it for the right hand.
Left hand we have two chords here.
The two chords are [C#m] C sharp minor 7 which is C sharp, E, [E] G sharp, B and second chord [C#m] is
F sharp minor 7 which is F sharp, A, C sharp, E.
With these two chords in mind, so C minor
7 followed by F sharp minor 7, the two hands together goes like this.
So G sharp and C sharp minor together, _ _ _ _ _ G sharp and chord together.

There you go.

So it [C#m] goes together. _ _

[G#] Moving on to the second part, right hand continues.
It goes G sharp, B, F sharp and then G sharp.

Left hand, three chords here finishing off.
The [F#m] three chords are F sharp minor 7 which is F sharp, A, [A] C sharp, E.
Second chord, A
[C#m] major 7 which is A, C sharp, E, G sharp and third chord back to C sharp minor 7 which
is C sharp, E, G [E] sharp, B.
With these three chords in mind, [F#m] so F sharp minor [C#m] 7, A major
7 and C sharp minor 7.
The two hands together goes like this.
So G sharp and chord together, _ _ F sharp and chord together, _ _ up to G sharp, C sharp minor
7 by itself.
That's it.

[G] So once you get the melody and chords consistently correct, when you repeat it, then you can
[C#m] start to add your own improvisations and decoration patterns.
You can just follow like the original.
What the original kind of does, you play the chord and you just play the bottom note a
few times like this. _

_ _ _ _ you just hold the chord while playing the bottom note [C#] for the rhythmic patterns.

_ _ [C#m] _ _ Yeah, it does require a little bit of hand independence, finger independence because
you're holding the chord and then [C#] you're just moving the bottom note pinky individually.
[C#m] Okay, so if you're new to the piano, that might be a difficult thing to do by just [E] holding
the notes, the high notes [C#] whilst just playing and lifting off and pressing [G#] down for the bottom note.
Anyway, it turns together, it goes like this with the rhythmic patterns. _ _ _ _
