[Bb] Hey, what's up you guys Marty Schwartz here with Marty music really appreciate you guys hanging [Gbm] out gonna break [B] down
Just the chord [Dm] just the chord [F] progression to since I've been loving you by Led Zeppelin
[E] I have another video.
That's all [Eb] that opening licks.
You know all that stuff
This is [Db] just the chords that you will need so let's [Eb] zoom in and break it [C] down alright
Here are the chords the chord progression for since I've been loving you
It's a it's [E] a minor blues with some really nice little twists and turnarounds C minor
[Cm]
to the F minor
[Fm]
back to [C] C minor so so far.
It's kind of like a
[Eb] Basic minor blues [B] then back to the F minor
[F]
And then back to the C minor
[C]
Then here comes the [Gm] turnaround G minor
Then up a half-step major so you could call it G sharp major or a flat [Ab] major
Then down to [F] F minor
[Eb] Then that really nice [Db] tasteful
walk-down thing so
G [G] minor [Ab] up major back [F] F minor and
Then here comes a turnaround with that has an alternate [Bb] bass line going on, but the chords [Cm] are C minor
[G]
G 7 [Cm] C minor
So
[G]
[Eb] And so then I'm playing an E flat [E] 7 [D] you could really [Eb] just play three notes
So it's that root on the 6 of the a 6 5 6
[C] Then when and then down a half step to D 7
[F] [Bb] [Eb] And so then it's a [E] D flat [D] and
[Ab] It's an organ chord there.
It's not a guitar chord, but you could play
You know if you're playing [Db] rhythm.
I mean if you knew
You could play a straight-up D major chord D flat major, but I'm playing this
the D [F] flat
[Bb] major 9 so it'd be
[F] for
3 with the [Db] index and
Then [Bm] pinky on the 5 of the G
[Db] [F]
ring finger [Bb] on the 4 [Db] of the B
So check it out the [E] turnaround from G minor [G]
and then up to a a [Ab] flat major
F [Fm] minor and then here's that C minor [G] G 7 C [Eb] minor
E [Db] flat 7
[B] Sorry, I'm playing that C 7 shape you could do that so [Cm] so [G]
[D] [Db]
from the top [Cm] C minor and
[F] F minor
[C]
Now the F [F] minor
[Fm]
and the [C] C minor
[Cm]
[C] Now G minor
[G]
Then up to [Ab] a flat F [F] minor
Then [Cm] C minor G 7 [Eb] C minor [Db] E flat 7 D 7
D flat major 7
[Fm]
And so now what's going on during [Cm] this the [G]
[Cm] [Ebm] [D]
[Fm]
[Cm] bass on the?
[Gm] [Eb]
[D] [Db]
would [B] be
[F] E [Bb]-flat over that C sharp minor so over that
[Db] [Fm]
Be
[Eb] [D] [C]
[Eb] [D]
[Db] And
So over those chords it sounds really good once [G] again
[Bb] be
[Ab] You [G] know G G [Ab]
sharp
[F] F now we go right to E flat as the [Eb] bass player
[D]
[C] [Eb]
[D] [Db]
[C]
While the guitar would be going
[Cm] [G]
[Cm] [Eb] [D]
[Fm]
[Db] So I just realized on that D flat major 7 chord [G] if you're playing the D 7 with [Db] these three fingers
You could keep the ring finger there [Cm] and just slide those back [Db]
if you didn't [F] want to play this [Cm] whole chord there so you could go
[G] [Cm]
[Eb] [D]
[Db]
[Cm] That is the progression
[C] [Db] Alright, alright, alright
Hope that helped it's [D] a classic minor blues with some [Dbm] nice twists super fun to solo over
[C] Hope you got it down without too much difficulty [E] also.
Thanks again for supporting Marty music
