Okay guys, this is this week's lick of the week and this involves some really interesting
hybrid picking and alternate picking ideas that are based around arpeggios.
[Dm] And you can apply it to pretty much any three-note arpeggio you like, any triad, and I'm going
to use a D minor and an E minor triad.
Okay, here's the lick up to speed.
It goes something like this.
[Em] [Dm] [Em] [A]
So this is basically a four-note phrase made out of a three-note arpeggio and basically
the way I'm doing it is I'm using a D minor shape using the first, second, and fourth fingers.
Okay, so we've got the first finger on the second fret of the G string, second finger
on the third fret of the D string, and the little finger on the fifth fret of the A string.
And I'm doing a little hybrid picking motion on the G string, middle finger up.
I then do two upstrokes on the [F] next two notes [D] and then a [A] downstroke on the same note again.
So we've got middle, [Dm] up, up, down.
[G] So here's the same thing nice and slow using the two arpeggios.
I'm just literally shifting that up and then back down again.
Remember, as always, like and share this video as much as possible and we'll get you the tab, okay?
So, it goes like this, [A] nice and slow.
[F] [D]
[F] [D] [G] [E]
[G] [E] [A] [Dm]
Okay, remember you can apply it to any arpeggio you like that's a three-note arpeggio.
