We're going to show you how we play over [Bb] and over again.
First off, it is capo 3 [F] on your guitar, so bust out [Fm] your quality capo, [B] put it on your guitar, capo 3.
It's going [F] to be in the key of D.
_ [C] And it's pretty straightforward [B] shapes, just a little bit of a finger picking pattern that then [A] turned into full strum on the second verse.
So for the intro and the verses, I'm just playing a simple pattern, just these two [Dm] fingers, just goes, _ _
[Bb] _ _ _ _ [F] _ _ _ _
_ _ _ so it just repeats.
_ [Bb]
So if you saw any of the other videos, I like this G a lot, it's called G5.
It's just nice and full send and you've got that third in there and it just kind of rings [Dm] a little bit better.
So it's going to be a B minor [Bb] to G5 to [F] a D2, _ _ [Dm] same pattern.

_ _ _ [F] _ _ _ _
And then the other verse is [Dm] just going to be a strum.
_ [Bb] And it's a 6-8 song.

And then the chorus, straightforward, it's going to be a G [F] to a D [C] to a B minor to an A sus.
So you're kind of letting this finger sit here and kind of be [G] a pivot for you.
It's kind of holding the same [Bb] fret the whole time.
So it should be like, over and [C] over again.

_ [C] _ And it ends on the A sus.
And hold that out.

I think the only difference I have is a bridge riff.
But we're going to go to Matt and kind of let him show you what he plays on our acoustic version of the song.

There's a little acoustic [Bb] riff in the chorus that I wanted to show you.
[Eb] In capo 10, you're playing in G.
The song is actually in the key of F. _

_ And then right in the in-betweens on that chorus part, you'll hear this little acoustic [G] part.

So you're playing a D2 and the picking pattern is_

And there's a piano [Ab] riff that is pretty much driving the whole song.
It's the hook of the song.

And it kind of repeats through different portions of the song.
Yeah.
So it's pretty easy.
You start with_
Well, I guess on the left hand, [Gm] I'm just kind of doing octaves of [Ab] the bass notes.
So it's a D [D] minor.
So I just do D.
And then I'll go [Bb] to a B flat.
And then I'll go to [Ab] an F.
Basically like a triad [F] without the fifth. _
_ And then on the right [Fm] hand, if you start with just [Ab] an F triad, _ that's basically what it is.
And then your pinky [F] goes up to the D.
So yeah, basically just goes_
[Dm] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [F] _ _ _ _ [G] _ _
[F] _ So you'll do that with your right hand as you're doing [G] octaves with your left hand.
[F] And that's the main riff for that song.
So that's how you play it over and over again.
