So [C#] you go right [E] on up!
I got your [N] shots, you're fucking out!

You don't have hanging [C#] bodies without the junk!
So they know what they're worth! It's built!
[C#m] Build all of the built!
[N] Smack it!
[A] Oh!
[C#] You got the beat!
Yeah,
[C#m] drummer!
You're a wild dancer!
You're a [E] wild dancer! What?
[C#]
[E] [N] It's punkin' but we doin' the rap-a-rap?
You're a wild dancer!
You're a [C#m]
wild dancer!
[C#]
[E] Chorus line [G#m] again?
[G] You [C#] know that!
[E] That's a really cool chorus.
[C#] I'm telling you to [E] bite!
You're never gonna [G#] show much!
[G] Love [C#] that dark chorus [E] progression, Swish!
I [C] am!
Your [C#]
[E] heart [G#] is sweet as lasso!
[G] Waste him!
[C#] So you go right on [E] up!
I [N] got your shots, you're fucking out!
[C#] I know!
What is this?
You don't have hanging bodies without the junk!
[N] So they know what they're worth!
Love that dark chorus progression, Swish!
I mean, look, I Prevail.
I remember Bow Down.
That was mad.
That's a sick song, but they got mad earth.
Damn!
Okay.
Let's go.
The thing with this, I heard a lot of
multiple different influences.
I definitely heard I Prevail and what they've built on
over the years.
Especially in that chorus,
which was also very unique with the chord progressions.
But definitely some Slipknot.
That main riff [Em] screams [E] Slipknot,
which is great.
It's fun.
It's Slipknot, but in 2022,
more modernized and all that stuff
with a lot of different modern [N] twists.
I really love the pitch drop part, too.
I thought that was fun.
Again, you see a lot of the modern tricks
of the trade being pulled out here,
but they're doing it well and combining it
in a very fun and unique-ish way.
Sure, there's the Slipknot,
and then there's the down-tuning,
[C#] and then there's the really fast
chugga-chugga-chuggas going crazy.
And then there's this really interesting chorus,
which, when it hit, I was like,
what just
where did I go?
How much drug just happened?
Because it's definitely a shock
when you first get hit by it.
But the thing is, the energy kind of keeps up with it,
which is really cool.
The drum energy just keeps going, [G] like I said,
feral earlier, as well as the guitar energy during it.
And what I love is, it wasn't like a dark song,
you know,-2-3-1, like very Phrygian-y kind of. It's a lot of chromatic, Slipknot-y riffs. And then the chorus was just some major-y thing that's very pop. It was a very interesting dark chord progression, which was really fun to use like that. Big theory knowledge stuff, almost like a diminished twist halfway through, I think. Can't wait to get all the comments saying I'm wrong on that one, so thank you for the engagement. And then the vocals, too, were very cool. Again, at first it was like, whoa, what just hit me? But as it kept going, it's like, oh, I'm still bobbing. It was fun, I guess is the best way I can describe the vocals during the chorus. It was fun. It was hook-y, and it was very unexpected. And I think they pulled it off, which is interesting. And there was horns, too. It was almost like, I don't know, like, fun, funky ska or something. I don't know. And they made that blend with modern drop, Omega, and then they go with some slipknot. Unique blend of things, and still very I Prevail. Good on them. I mean, this is a fun track. You didn't really know what was going to happen necessarily between every corner. So yeah, it's just fun, exciting, high energy, three minutes long. [C#] No complaints. Fun song. Definitely a good way to, like, hey, we haven't released music in a while. We're back! And then boom. [N] Good on them. The video was fun, too.
