So you're playing the [N] Triscol Arts Centre tonight in Cork
We are, it's a sold out show, we're really really thrilled to be here
We both love Cork, of course I was born in the city
Everybody loves Cork, doesn't it, it's so good
Isn't it Steve?
It is, and there's a lovely positive attitude here
Like the Cork man with the inferiority complex who thought he was just as good as anybody [E] else
That's right, I mean, look, it's a beautiful [A] place, Triscol is an amazing venue
[D#]
[G#] Lovely warm atmosphere [E] Gorgeous
And so, [N]
is this part of a Borders tour or a European tour?
Not exactly, we're doing a few dates, [G#] we're [Bm] doing [F#] Dublin tomorrow
[E] We just work up a few more dates during [Am] the year
I mean, [B] we don't tour a [A#] huge amount, [E] we only do [F#] maybe a dozen or so gigs a [E] year
[B] We have a little [N] fling with each other every now and again
And so what other [B] musical, what else are you up [A#] to musically at the moment?
Well, we're [C] both busy, you know, Steve just came to the [N] studio this morning
[B] [C] The lady that everybody's talking about now, [N] Becky So
She barely passed it in
[B] [Am] He was away with the Gloria of Corss
[N] And he was in his film
[E] Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeah
He's the film critic
[B] No, [N] look, we're busy, thank God
It's nice to do this gig, this gig is something I always appreciate
Just the two of us, and the way we [E] do songs
Without anybody else sticking their oar in
It is a handy gig, [B] we've known each other for years
[N] No pianos, no fiddles, no nothing
And the fling works well
That was a message to my friends in the glowing
Thank you so much for coming on to Balcony, it's a privilege and honour to have you
Thank you so, so much
Thanks for waiting for us today, we were [D#] a little bit delayed in our soundcheck
[C#] No problem, check them out, Irla Leonard and Steve Cooney
And tune in again for another Balcony TV [D#] Cork
