Hi everybody, I thought I'd do a YouTube video of a Kevin Skinner's version of If Tomorrow Never Comes
That was performed [Gb] in America's Got Talent or America's _ [A] Got Talent.
It's a Garth Brooks 10, great 10.
_ There's a couple of subtleties to the song
[G] That people haven't picked up on on the other two, _ _ so I thought I'd add this because I had some questions
What I'll do is I'll show you what's happening
And then I'll play the video in the background my laptop and play the chord changes over it
And if I'm lucky I'll be able to upload a chord chart at the end of the video though
I don't know if I can [Ab] because frankly I've never YouTube [Gbm] _ _ [F]
video that I've [N] performed on before so I'll have to see if this works
_ things to keep in mind when
When _ Kevin's doing his tune is that first of all he's doing a tuning an altered tuning
So he's dropped every string one full step flat.
He's made it flat
So instead of being E A D G B E is now [D] D G [Dm] _ C F
_ [D] A and D
So that's a normal standard [F] tuning.
He's got the G [C] major shape, D [Gm] major shape, C major shape, A minor
He's got [Gb] one other version which is a G major [F] without the reed which I'll show you why he has that in the end and then _
_ _ So so if he's playing it's not a G major
It's an F major because he's he and I are now both tuned flat, so you'll see that the
_ [N]
Couple of things that are happening is that he puts his [Bb] hammer on _

_ _ He also [Bb] tends to hold on to the high G if you're into standard standard tuning _ _ _ _
[F] A lot when he's playing the C
_ You know he sometimes [Gm] starts on the A minor on a [Bb] new verse and sometimes starts on the C when he starts on the [G] C
[A] _ [Bb] _ He'll do the pickup line

And that's why on the last chorus when he's exiting the song the outro
[A] _ [G] _ _ [F] _ You'll hear that and that's why you need the that G without the root was talking about this is [Bb] gonna go C
