Jam Along & Learn...
We [Fm] are always running for the thrill [Cm] of it, thrill of it.
the thrill of it.
playing around in bands for years,
where we're going into adulthood
do something really special
[N] kind of like now it feels like it's been a bit of an apprenticeship.
And if you keep that, then I guess as an artist you can constantly [Ab] keep recreating,
opposed to getting old quick.
the thrill of it.
playing around in bands for years,

[N] kind of like now it feels like it's been a bit of an apprenticeship.

_ We [Fm] are always running for the thrill [Cm] of it, thrill of it.
Always [Fm] pushing up the hill, searching [Eb] for the thrill of it.
[Fm] You know, I guess we've both been _ [Eb]
playing around in bands for years,
[Fm] so we're kind of [Eb] getting to that stage where we're going into adulthood
and it was like we need to do something really special
that [A] encompasses everything we've learnt, you know,
so it's [N] kind of like _ now it feels like it's been a bit of an apprenticeship.
And if you keep that, then I guess as an artist you can _ constantly [Ab] keep recreating,
_ you know, opposed to _ getting old quick.
So we've been working together since 2000 and a few years back
it _ _ really hit that point on the road where it was like we _ can't, you know,
just be hippies travelling and not knowing where we're [Ebm] going.
We need to, you know, make something that's epic and otherworldly
and it's going to use [Eb] everything that we've learnt through this apprenticeship
_ and it's the biggest thing we've ever [Fm] done.
_ _ _ [Eb] _ _ _ [Db] _ _
[Fm] _ _ _ _ [Eb] _ _ [Db] _ [Fm] _
You can't put a price on knowledge, you know,
and I think we're [E] learning so much along the way and every place we go to
we pen more songs and _ [C] kind of meet so many amazing people
and it is the kind of project where people just get drawn [Cm] to it, you know,
and like you say about the MySpace here,
it's just exponentially growing [Db] far [Fm] beyond our expectations.
_ [Cm] _ _ [Db] _
_ [Fm] _ _ _ [Eb] _ _ _ _
[Fm] _ _ I think the [Cm] thing that connects Luke and I [Fm] so strongly is
_ [Eb] we're both [N] very strongly spiritually connected and kind of driven, you know.
There seems to be something a lot larger, maybe it's coming from,
what do you call it, modular _ oblongatus, you know,
it's like something shoots through the back of your skull
and it just projects yourself way past where you thought you could ever go
and I think it's just been this great connectivity
where one hand will do what the other hand doesn't do
and we just _ [Ab] continually are kind of trying to evolve [Cm] and create something.
[Ab] _ _ _ _ _
[Cm] _ _ _ _ [Fm] _ _ _
I [Cm] think because we've had 10 years in the business,
_ it's really wonderful that [Fm] we're able to come together
and just [Gm] to make [Db] something that we're really [Fm] proud of. _
