[Ebm] [Abm] [Bbm]
[Ab] [Ebm] [Abm] [Eb] My name is Michaela Coffey-Simpson.
I am 17 years old.
I graduated from the Arden High
[A] School and I am a musician.
Well, I am originally [Eb] from Spanish Town and it [Em] was the [A] inspiration
to create a tribute [G] in the form of a song for the legend Usain Bolt that got me where
[Eb] I am.
Once I [N] posted the video of that song, Usain reposted it and it got me a lot of attention.
So I really [G] want to thank him for that and just bring him up [N] some more for being a legend.
I remember from being about the age of like 5, I wanted to be a singer.
I didn't want
to be a reggae singer necessarily but I always wanted to be a musician.
My family mainly consists of just myself and my mother.
So yes, my mother is in support
as well as my extended family.
I am not in school right now.
I am just doing music full-time
but I do hope to [Gm] continue my education in the future.
My musical [B] inspirations are literally
just [N] melodies, any [Bbm] kind of melodies and I would consider [B] myself to be melodic.
Well, I hope to [Bb] be the future of reggae.
I consider myself to [Ebm] be a part of reggae and
I hope that with putting in enough [N] work, I will be able to represent reggae in the future.
Yes, [Eb] it is my first official single and it came about from me having [F] a [Bbm] really bad, like
a disappointing experience [N] and I just wanted to motivate myself to move forward in life
and I just wrote that song as an inspiration [B] for myself and hopefully it will [Ab] be an inspiration
to others.
Just, [N] you know, keep burning, keep going.
Never stop.
Definitely a lot more music.
A lot more music.
I have many dream collaborations.
I think there [Eb] are too many to list out right now.
Reggae songs, [B] EDM music and melodic [Cm] rap [G] mainly.
I am five feet tall.
[Ab]
Come with the fire, the city burning.
Down with just a tiny fire [N] and keep it burning.
It's a burn like a tire, me have a burning soul and if me try to retire, me leave them yearning.
Nothing can out my flame.
No, it can't quench, can't cool, can't tame.
And since the devil not like it himself, he'll turn it down to me.
Just give him the fire and me keep burning.
Well, we're live, you know, and you know it's coffee.
I just want to big up World of Reggae and big up Team Upsetta.
[Ebm] Is it work time?
[Bbm] Alright, [Ebm] what you about to do?
[Bbm] Eat.
[Ebm] Come with the fire, [Abm] the city burning.
[Bbm] Down with just a tiny fire [Gb] and keep it burning.
[Abm] It's a burn like a tire, me have a [Db] burning soul and if me try to retire, me leave
