[Eb] Hey all, [Cm] to keep going on the [F] Moon Dance album theme, [Eb] [F] let's do a run through real quick,
just [Eb] a lesson [D] of Into The Mystic.
On the old PT channel, I did a version of that, the way [Ebm] he would have done [Dm] it live,
and he would play it in E, the first [Cm] position in E.
And that allows you to do the guitar
fills and stuff.
[Gb] But on the [Eb] album, he would have done it like [Cm] this.
So [Gb] I've got it capoed at 3.
[Fm] And actually,
I think it's sort of a little bit in between the cracks on [C] this, so put the [D] capo where
you want it, and you can either tune slightly [A] up or slightly down to get it.
[Eb]
[A] So it starts, [Eb] it's in C, [Ab] C, [D] F, G, and E minor, those are the [Eb] only chords to it.
It starts
with that.
[Bb] So play a C and hammer on the E [Eb] string at second fret.
And [Bb] [Cm] usually, [Eb] if
you listen close, [Gm] he's covering the [Eb] high E string at the third fret, for most of those C chords.
[C] [Bb] Right, that second one is keep everything the same, [N] but move your middle finger and
ring finger down toward G.
[Gm] So third fret, low E [A] string, second fret, A string, the other
two stay the same.
[Ebm]
[Bb] It goes to a straight G7.
[Gm] [Eb]
Then E minor.
[Gm] You know, [G] it's not an E
minor because of the capo, but we're playing it like an E minor.
[Gm] To F, [Ab]
back to the [Eb] C.
Back
to [Gm] E minor again, to F.
[Ab]
This time it [Bb] goes to G,
[Eb] back to C.
I want a rock and a glimpse,
you saw that one.
Just like way back in the day.
[Bb] To G7.
[Eb] Now one of the giveaways, and those are all the chords.
One of the giveaways, this is
how you do it.
First, that hammer on, [Cm] is a giveaway that it's a C shape.
[Abm] But the other
thing, if you listen really close, and on the outtake versions you can hear it a lot
[Eb] clearer.
There are a couple parts, you can hear them doing that.
[Gm]
And that's just [C] at the
[Dm] third fret on the high E string and then the B string, [Eb] which is covered with your C chord.
So that's another thing that you have to do it in a C fingering to get that properly.
[Bb]
[G] I think those are all the chords.
[Eb] That was a quick one.
So good
just [Eb] a lesson [D] of Into The Mystic.
On the old PT channel, I did a version of that, the way [Ebm] he would have done [Dm] it live,

It starts

[Bb] So play a C and hammer on the E [Eb] string at second fret.

Then E minor.

minor because of the capo, but we're playing it like an E minor.
[Gm] To F, [Ab]
back to the [Eb] C.
Back
to [Gm] E minor again, to F.
[Ab]
This time it [Bb] goes to G,
[Eb] back to C.
I want a rock and a glimpse,
you saw that one.
Just like way back in the day.
[Bb] To G7.
[Eb] Now one of the giveaways, and those are all the chords.
