[Ab] Hi, my name is Giuseppe [Bb] Saviani.
I'm not really a DJ, I'm a live [Ab] performer and a musician more than anything else.
I've [Abm] been performing live [Ab] music on stage for the past 13 years and this is actually my next step.
The thing that I've been doing so far was basically making my music and performing my
music live on stage with the keyboards and stuff.
[G] Right now I try to take it to the [Ab] next level.
So I'm moving from performing music on stage to create music live on stage.
So like, you know, live in the moment and create [Gb] something, you know, whatever comes
to my mind when I'm actually playing [G] in front of a crowd because this is where I get most
of my inspiration [Ab] and I don't want to wait to come back to my studio and make music.
I just want to make music on stage.
So that [E] was the [Abm] basic idea for this new setup.
So what I [Ab] have here, two laptops and they [E] are running [Abm] Amazon Live.
On my left laptop I have all [Ab] my music, all my productions, remixes, even mashups [Abm] or music
from the label.
[Ab] On the right laptop I have all [E] the sounds that I use [Ab] to create music on stage.
[Ab] The main part is my [B] APC40 which [Eb] is a launch pad basically [Ab] but it also allows me to control
every single sound, every single [E] software I [Eb] have [Ab] into my laptop.
So it's really easy to record a melody, say, [E] [Abm]
and that's it.
Then we can move to the bassline.
Arpeggio on.
[E] [Ebm] So [Abm] making a raw but brand new track on the fly and play it straight away [Bbm] plus combining
[E] all those live [Ebm] elements [Abm] with the music I make in the studio, it really gives to my live
performance a different feeling than before [E] and offers [Abm] a unique experience to people who
every time come to see me play live.
[E] [Ebm] [Abm]
[E] [Ebm] [Abm]
[B] So basically [E] it's a lot of [Abm] fun to play with and it's not just DJing for me but it's more
having some interaction with the crowd and making music on stage now is definitely the
next step for me.
