Nate and I are going to play our new single for y'all.
And [Gm] [Bb] I [Cm]
wrote this song with Mylon Miller and Tom Yutz,
good friends of mine back in Nashville, great songwriters.
And Mylon's from North Carolina, and we were [E] working on this Bluegrass record,
and they said, well, what do you want to [Eb] write about?
I said, well, you know, half the [C] time I'm thinking about I should be [E] living in the mountains [Eb] of North Carolina
[Ab] because I just have such a reverence for that area [Eb] of the [Cm] country, and it's just so beautiful.
And so Mylon's from there, and he said, well, I've got this little idea here.
So he came over with this nugget of this [C] really great piece of music,
[G] and we finished this in probably, I don't know, [Dm] 30 [Bb] minutes.
It was just one of those [Ab] really wonderful things to happen for songwriters, and it was [G] a gift.
And so it just turned out really great.
So we had great, our great musicians in the studio really capture it,
and of course Scott [N] Vestal plays that blistering banjo opening up,
so Nae's going to blister it on the mando.
[Bbm] There's a song called Carolina Wind.
This one's fast, so hang on.

[Cm] That always pulls me back and takes [F] me home [Cm] again
Out on the [Eb] horizon I can see the mountains [Bb] rising
And I feel the comfort of a long [F] lost friend
[Gm] In [Cm] my soul, in my [Eb] spirit, I can almost [Bb] hear it
