[D] Hello everyone!
Today I'm gonna message some [Am] pro YouTubers that a lot of [D] you will know and send [A] them some very,
[D] very difficult [Am] challenges that's gonna [D] push them to their limits.
[Am] The first guy I'm gonna message is Felix Martin.
He's an amazing double neck guitarist.
[Ab] [C] So [Gbm]
[F] [C] [Dm] clearly he can tap very well, [A] but I want to see if he can play drums on his guitar.
So I'm [Dm] gonna record an original for him and tell [Am] him to [Dm] add some [G] double neck [E] guitar drums to it.
[A]
[D] [C] All right, let's take a [Bm]
look.
[Gbm] [G] [D]
[G] [D] [Bm]
[A] [G] [Bm]
[A] [G] [D]
[B] [Bm]
[G] [D] [A] Wow, [E]
[Gb] [Bm] [C] [A]
[G]
[Em] that was pretty beautiful.
[Fm] Tap like [D] if you enjoyed it.
The percussion was really [Am] cool and [D] impressive,
[A] but I [D] also really loved the [Am] harmonies.
And then when he played the [E] same line as me,
but up the octave, [F] that [Bm] sounded [Am] so powerful.
All right, [Ab] now I'm gonna [Gb] message Tomo [F] Fujita.
He's a really funky [G] guitarist [C] and also a professor [Dm] at Berklee College of Music.
[C] I'm gonna challenge him to a slap bass versus slap guitar battle.
[Eb] Here's a clip of the video I'm [E] gonna send [Em] him.
[D]
[A] [Em] [D] [A]
[G] [E]
[Gm]
[A] [D] [Em]
[D] [A] [Em] [D]
[A] [G] [E]
[Em] [Ab]
[E] [Bm]
[Em] [Bm] Now [A] [E]
[Bb] [Em] [E]
that was funky.
He had some really nice rhythms in there and I [C] just loved that call and response that he had at the end.
So I guess he can slap a guitar, but what about a
[D] violin?
So I know [E] this violinist named Rob Landez.
He's [C] got over 3 million subscribers and has done all [B] kinds of crazy videos.
[A]
[Gm] [Eb] [Am] [Bb]
[E] But one thing I don't think I've ever seen him [D] do is slap the violin.
[Cm] [B]
[Bb] [Cm] [D]
[C] [Bm] [Bb]
[C] [D] [C]
[Bm] [Bb] [C] [Dm]
[C] [Bm]
[Bb] [Cm] [D] [C]
[Bm] [Bb] [C]
[Gb] [C] Nice.
Now that was pretty cool.
I really liked how he had the percussion and the melody going at the same [G] time and some pretty good multitasking.
My next challenge to you, Rob [Am] Landez, is to put bass strings on your violin.
Let's see if he'll do that.
Tap [G] subscribe if you're enjoying this video so far.
Now [Em] we're gonna have a drummer by the name [C] of Brandon Davis.
This guy is one of [Am] the top rated online session drummers and is basically a human metronome.
So let's put [G] his skills to the test.
I'm gonna challenge him to improvise a [Am] drum solo along with a backing track loop.
But the backing track is gonna cut out [G] every now and then, meaning he has to keep perfect time while there's [C] no
backing track behind him.
Otherwise [Am] when the track does come back in, he'll be off and it'll just sound really terrible.
[Em] [D] [Dbm]
[Gb] [Em] [D] [E]
[Em]
[A] [E] [D]
[E] [A] [E] [Em]
[B]
[E]
[Am]
Wow, now that was [C] really impressive.
I definitely was not expecting him to keep time [G] that well.
[Am] And the fact that he played all of those amazing fills [C] while keeping perfect time is pretty incredible.
There's only one challenge left and it's the biggest one of all.
[G]
Myself.
I'm challenging myself to show you [Am] an original that isn't finished yet.
And I want you to tell me what you think of [Bm] it.
[G] [B]
[G] [Bm] [E]
[Bm] [G] [A]
[B] [G] [D] [A] [E]
[Gb] [G] [A] [Bbm]
[Gb] [Bm] [G] [A] [Bm]
[Gbm] [G] [A]
[Gb] [D] [Em]
[A]
[G]
[Am] So, let me know what you think.
Should I turn this into a full [C] original?
Thank you guys so much for watching this video.
Remember to [Am] tap like and subscribe if you enjoyed it.
Thanks also to Felix, Brandon, Rob and [C] Tomo for their incredible playing.
I'll see you all in the next video.
