It's Been A Long, Long Time - Last blast 2013 chords
Start Jamming...
As I mentioned, one of the exciting things is always the opportunity to premiere a new work.
And so another arrangement by Dave Sharp is this next piece.
It's been a long, long time.
Now I mentioned Tom Kelly already.
He deserves great accolades as he's the personnel manager for the group.
And this happened to be one of those years where I started to worry about opening an email from Tom
because first there was John Ulrich who could not be with us because of some back issues.
He's okay, but we were sad that that happened.
And then we later learned that Rebecca Shane, who was our administrative assistant and was going to sing this next piece,
also had the stomach flu.
And then we learned that Laurie Falcone, who is going to play in a little bit, also has the stomach flu.
So I began to think I'm not going to open any emails from Tom.
But Tom does such a great job and he deserves also great accolades for his work with the Plymouth Brass.
So let's give him a round of applause.
And so fortunately we are in a town of lots of talent.
And when Becky couldn't sing, we were so fortunate that her sister, Carrie,
who is back in town after being away for two years in the Peace Corps, was available tonight.
And we are so delighted to have her joining in this premiere of the arrangement.
And so please welcome Carrie Kuma and the Plymouth Brass.
