IVAN & THE PARAZOL - WISH YOU THE BEST (BalconyTV) chords
Start Jamming...
[F] You're watching Balcony TV in London.
My name is Louise Houghton and [C] I'm joined right now
by Ivan and the Parasol who've come all the way from Hungary to play for us right now.
Now as you can see the [F] weather is not very nice.
It's very, very windy out there which
is why we've brought everybody just inside to keep all the equipment safe.
So what song
are you going to sing for us?
Wish you the best.
Oh thank you very much.
Oh you mean that's the name of the song.
Okay I get it.
Alright
I'm going to leave you to play and we'll talk a bit more afterwards.
Alright?
Okay in your own [Dm] time.

See the [E] girls are lying, see the girls are [F#m] lying on [E] the floor.
[F#m] I've called on [E]
[F#] myself [A] for one reason, [E]
[F#] that the [A] whole [F#] town's throwing [B] to the same [A] funny.
[E]
[F#] [A] I've never done that, [F#] shut [D] your head.
[F#] I [D] just want to be a man [E] again.

[B] Good [F#m] night.
[G#m]
[F#] [A] I've never done that, [F#] shut your head.
I [A] just want to [F#] be a man [E] again.

Prince has me right in God's arms.
I've never done that, shut your head.
I just want to [E] be a [B] man again.
[F#] Wish you the best though, cause I leave.
I just [E] feel [B] cool on [F#] the scene.
[G] [A] [B]
[F]
[C]
I was at the Carbone Fools at Half Moon Pub, it was great.
In Putney?
Yeah, a bunch of people were there.
And now we're moving on to Nothing Hill Arts [G] Club and then we're playing a gig at Garage Club and then at Dublin Castle.
So that's some nice venues.
Oh wicked, that sounds really awesome.
How are you liking [C] London?
Great, amazing.
[D] Apart from the weather.
What can I say?
18,000 Hungarians live in London actually.
Yeah.
That's a nice number, isn't it?
Yeah.
Tell us a bit more about what's happening after this week, later on in the year.
[A] Yeah, we're playing a gig together [Fm] with Deep Purple [A] in the Budapest [C] Sport Arena.
When's that?
[Fm] It's a really great [F#] place.
When is it?
[A#] Budapest Wembley I can say.
But when is the gig coming up?
[A] On the 17th of February, so on Monday.
So we're really looking [C] forward to that gig.
[C#] And then we're [G] releasing our new album, which is called Mood Bizarre.
This song is also featured on this album and we will release it I think on the first week of March.
And then we're moving on to the States because we're performing at South by Southwest Festival again. Oh wicked.
And our [B] song Take My Hand is [G] featured in the promo video [G#] of [G]
2014's South by Southwest Festival.
Lots going on.
That's really good and you're really pleased with the album [C] of course as well.
Yeah, we have 12 nice songs on it.
Is everything similar to this or can we expect something a bit quieter at the same time?
Yeah, something like this.
So all very rock and roll.
Yeah, pure rock and roll.
So what are your influences?
What sort of music do you guys listen to?
[G] Rolling Stones, Beatles, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath [C] I can say.
Well you've named some fab artists there I think.
I think your name's going to be up there with them as well after the next time.
Oh, thank you.
Why not?
So thank you very much for coming up on the balcony.
Although we didn't actually get quite outside but it's been a pleasure having you.
[G] We'll nip out for a photo or something.
[C] Join in again soon guys.
We'll have [C] another artist [E] on this very spot very, very shortly.
Don't go away.
