[Am] [E] [F] Okay, [Em] this [Dm] week's tutorial is J.
Cole Lacks Please.
[A] This is a song I recommend for beginners of the piano because it's quite a simple song to learn.
[D] So we're going to get straight into it.
[C]
[Bb] [C]
[D]
[C] [Bb]
[C] [D] Okay, so the first thing you're going to play on your left hand, you're going to play D octaves.
So you're going to play a D with your pinky finger and a D with your thumb.
And on your right hand, at the same time, you're going to play an A, [Eb] [Dm] a D, and an F.
And that makes a D minor chord.
So you're going to play it like this.
[G] Then you're going to play it [D] one more time.
And you're going to go into the next chord, which is a C major, [Ab] which is a [C] C in octaves
on your left [Ab] hand, [G] and a G, [C] a C, and an E on your right hand.
Then you're going to play that one more time.
[E] And you're going to go into the next chord, which is a B flat major.
Now you should be playing this in octaves, but [Bb] my keyboard doesn't go far enough, so
I'm only playing it with one key.
But basically you should be playing both of them.
But yeah, it's a B flat.
And then the next note you're going to play on your right hand is an F, a B flat, and a D.
Hit it one more [C] time, and then you go back to the C chord.
C major chord.
So then going [D] through that one more time slowly, it's going to sound like this.
[C] [Bb]
[C]
[Dm] [C]
[Bb]
[C] [Dm] And that's pretty much it.
One thing you'll notice about [Bb] this song maybe [Am] is the [Dm] chord progression, yeah?
It's [Gm] quite a popular one, and it's used on [Bb] Phil Collins [Dm] in the era of the night.
And lots of other songs.
Anyway, if anything you're forced, you know what I mean?
[Am] It's section of the building.
[E] [Dm]
