Jammin' For Danny Joe Brown - Artimus Pyle chords
Start Jamming...
Danny Jo Brown, [B] let's hear it!
[N] More to come.
Mr.
Artemis Powell from APB and Leonard Skinner is here tonight.
We ain't done.
It's gonna go on and on.
[Abm] We've got a lot more [E] people, a lot more special guests coming up here on this very stage.
[A] Danny was not [N] scheduled to come up here.
It was your love, it was your energy that brought him up here.
[F] [A] You did it.
[Ab] You guys did it.
Absolutely [A] amazing.
[Ab] [B] [E] Man, I've seen a lot of shows over the years.
This [N] is one of the best ones.
You guys made this a very, very special night.
Thank you very much.
You guys are [Bm] awesome.
[N] Orlando, Florida.
Mr.
Artemis Powell.
I'd just like to say a couple of short words about Danny Jo Brown.
Back in the 70s [Ab] when Leonard [Gm] Skinner was on the road, we would [Gb] [Eb] come home to Jacksonville, Florida
[E] and Ronnie Van [Gb] Zandt, [Gm]
[Ab] who is the one and [Eb] only [D] Leonard Skinner,
[N]
we would come home off the road and Ronnie would tell us about this band that he was working with called Molly Hatchet.
And he would spend his very precious time at home working with [G] Danny Jo and the band and working with them
and trying to share with them [Abm] what he knows about music.
And as we all know, Ronnie Van [N] Zandt knew a whole lot about music.
[Bb] [G] So it is because of Ronnie that I am here.
And it [Abm] is because of Danny Jo Brown to show our respect
because all I [Bb] can say is I know that Ronnie would want me to be here [Ab] tonight.
[N] So on behalf of everybody here, all the great musicians, the Molly Hatchet band,
the Leonard Skinner band and all of the Southern rock and roll legacy,
thank you for being here.
