She's currently doing very well with her album.
And this is the sleeve from it.
It's Jane Weaglin.
Now Jane, first of all, this sleeve, if you don't look carefully, you can actually misunderstand it.
Because I thought you were wearing some article of furry clothing there.
Nope, that's the wrong message.
That's against all your principles, I understand.
Yep.
What is it then?
It's a rabbit, is it?
Yeah, I'm holding a rabbit.
Her name's Kissy.
She's a very large rabbit.
And the idea was, the album's called Fur.
And to, um, when you think of the word fur, to think of live animals instead of yucky dead fur coats.
Because that's something you feel pretty strongly about, isn't it?
Yeah, I don't think people should wear fur.
Why?
[G] Well, because you have to kill about 40 animals to [N] make one fur coat, and it just doesn't seem right.
And what do you do for the cause?
I mean, do you go along to demonstrations and things?
I mean, how involved are you?
Yes, I've been in a lot [G] of demonstrations, and I've been arrested four times.
And one time I went to jail for five days.
So I feel pretty committed to trying to help animals, because, um,
it just seems like these days we don't really think about animals as having any rights at all.
And I think they should be allowed to live, just like people.
Because I know you're very keen on animals as well.
How many pets have you got?
[F#] Oh, lots.
I've got three dogs, two cats, two horses, and four chickens.
[E] My goodness.
And who's looking after them at the moment while you're over here?
Um, I have a friend [B] that lives at my house, and he [A] watches everything when I'm gone.
[E] Right.
Now what about the video?
We're about to see it in a couple of minutes' time.
[B] I understand you had a little bit of an [A] adventure making it.
[B] Well, my new video I filmed in Hawaii, and we were looking for all [C#m] kinds of amazing locations,
so we decided to go to the top of a [G#m] volcano.
And we went up there, and a hurricane struck, and I [B] was stuck on top of a volcano,
and all the water was raging around.
So you didn't really need the special effects, really?
No, not at all.
We [C#m] had all kinds of smoke coming out of the ground and everything.
It was great.
All right.
[D#] Well, let's have a quick look at it.
Here it is.
