_ _ Jenny, how did your interest in acting develop?
Well, as a child-
Well, I started when I was two and a half years old.
And when I was younger, I was always really exuberant.
And I always showed interest in being the center of attention.
So my mom decided that she wanted to put me in acting.
Because I was so interested in it. _
And I did commercials when I was younger.
And my first commercial was a Jell-O commercial.
[Db] What do you remember [Eb] most about that?
Well, not too much.
All I did in the commercial was pretty much just watch the Jell-O wiggle.
So, I don't really remember a lot from when I was [Abm] that young.
What's the best thing about being an actress?
_ Well, I would have to say meeting new people and going to new places.
I've met so many nice people doing this.
And I've traveled so much.
I've been to Budapest, Hungary.
And I've been all over the United States.
It's just great.
It's really a great thing if you can do it.
Is there a downside in your opinion?
[Bb] _ No, not really.
A lot of people say, don't you miss out on your childhood.
But I don't.
This is my childhood. _
And I'm learning a lot.
And I'm enjoying it very much.
And I don't have any downsides.
Do you have a favorite moment as an actress?
_ Well, one of my favorite moments was my mom got a part in a movie that I did.
And it was so great being on the other side of the camera watching my mom.
Which movie was that?
It was in Troop Beverly Hills.
_ Who was your mom?
Shelley Long.
Shelley Long was my mom.
My real mom got a part in it.
Who are some of your favorite performers?
_ Well, my favorite actor, I think, I really like Mickey Rourke.
I [N] think he's really handsome.
I really like him.
_ _ _ And my favorite actress right now is _ Meg Ryan.
_ _ Who would you most like to work with? _
That's a tough one.
I'd really like to work with Jane Fonda.
[Eb] Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
Or maybe Sissy Spacek.
[Ab] It would be, you know.
_ When you're not working, what kind of things do you like to do? _
Well, all [Bb] different things.
I like all sports, baseball, soccer, swimming.
And I also like spending a lot of time with my friends.
That's what I'm usually doing on the weekends.
I go, you know, _ Westwood.
I don't know.
Sure, it's been written about a lot.
Yeah.
That's a really fun place to go.
Are most of your friends in the business or not?
No.
No.
I mean, I know a lot of young actors and actresses,
but I don't spend my time with them.
I spend my time with my other friends that don't act at all.
What one question do you get asked most by fans?
[Ab] How is it working with Fred Savage?
They always seem to ask me that, yeah.
Or can you really play Nintendo?
Uh-huh.
That's usually the question. Oh, cute.
_ Is there, I know you have a hat collection.
Yes.
How did that get started?
Well, my mom gave me a hat about three years ago
that she had from when she was younger.
And I really liked it a lot, and I've always been a hat person.
So, you know, people started giving me hats as presents,
and I started buying them, and now I have a big collection.
Is there, like, a special story associated with each hat?
Yeah.
Yeah?
Yeah.
When you put them on, do you, can you get into character,
into a different kind of mood when you have each hat on?
Yeah, I can, actually.
My straw hats, I can be more festive,
and then with my _ _ [D] smaller hats and my men's hats,
I can, you know, get into character. _

Well, I want to say that you really have [Ab] to care about your planet, you know,
because without the planet, we wouldn't be here.
And you really have to, you know, start recycling
and stop using aerosol, [Db] aerosol hairspray and aerosol cans,
and just really start caring about other things aside from yourself.
