He's also a trusty servant.
Oh my god, he's so adorable, look at him!
You can move the whole thing so you don't have to do this all the time.
You know, the song that I just sang, when I first wrote it, it actually had a rap section in it.
Don't ask, it's Do it!
Wait, wait, wait, come on.
Okay, [B] okay, what is it?
[G] Feels like I'm required to be constantly inspired
by some soulful sweet [N] detire to bring forth my inner fire
but inside I'm like a choir, brought dressed up in false attire
but inside I'm someone else entirely and I'm feeling like a liar
I'm a doer, not a trier, I'm a who, a where, and why
I'm a user, I'm a buyer, I'm the user, not supplier
but I'm so struggling, I don't know why
I'm so searching for a higher me and maybe I'm just tired
but today I'm feeling uninspired
That song definitely has never been to work, ever.
But I'm so glad you made me do that.
I mean, look, he's so versatile.
That was great.
Thanks, Ryan.
So I want to tell you guys how I met my wife.
You can cheer for her, she's awesome.
So her name is Ashley
and I was doing the Broadway show Rock of Ages
I hope you guys know that show.
And I was swinging it and she was actually [C#] auditioning
for a replacement role to replace the lead.
And so naturally what she tends to do when [E] she gets auditions
for roles that are already [D#] on Broadway or whatever
she just YouTubed every video she [F#] could find
just incessantly, like, watching everything
just getting her brain [N] around it.
So naturally she came across a video of me singing in the show
and then she said to [C#] herself, and I quote,
Damn, he can sing.
And he's [N] handsome, too.
So she put something very uncharacteristic
and because we have mutual friends on Facebook
she sent me a message in the sort of guise of
Hey, I'm auditioning for this show
and I see we have mutual friends
maybe you can help me out with this question or this question
and I said, I'm not doing it, I'm just texting this guy.
And so naturally I look at her picture, [A] she's beautiful
[G#] and we reply [F] and go back and forth
although at the time I'm trying to date this other girl
[G#] I'm trying to knock [C#] on this other woman, you know
but [E] she wasn't really working out
so finally Ashley and I [C#] decided to meet
we meet up, love at first sight
and what I want to tell you is on [F] the second date
I remember this very vividly
I go over to her apartment because she has a pool
an outdoor pool in her apartment
and so we're swimming in the pool
[N] just in the middle, public pool, people all around
just making out
just circling and treading water, making out
all the while running her lines for her Rock of Ages audition
and it was a good moment
and you know, she didn't get the role right away
but eventually she got that role on Broadway
and she [C#] killed it, I swear to God
she was the best Sherry ever, [N] unbiased
I mean, she was amazing
and to prove it
she can come up here and sing with me
come on Ashley
Ashley Smith is the only one
see, she was in Hair Spirit on Broadway
she was on Grease on Broadway
she was in Crystal the Queen of the Desert on Broadway
and Rock of Ages, she's a star
woo!
you ready for this?
I'm nervous
oh, thank you everybody

[C] as long as I'm [D] the hero
I'll just lead [C] her
head [E] into [C] tomorrow
[G] closer [E] to it
[C] ever, what [E] your friends [C] say
I know we're gonna
find a [E] way
I'll hold you

[A] inside
