[Eb] Christmas is such [F] a wonderful feast in itself.
[Cm] The best way that [F] we can invite [Bb] people into our mother house, which we would like to [Ab] do
this Christmas or any Christmas, [C] is to give them the opportunity to see some of the beauty
and [Eb] particularly to hear the musical [Cm] celebration of Yehzu, [Bb] Joy of Man's Desiring.
[Eb]
[F] As one of the [Bb] founders, there are four founders, and I [F] can very clearly remember I was kneeling
in the chapel, there was one sister [Bb] to my right and [Eb] there were two sisters to my left,
and [F] this was the community.
[Cm] So 20 years into [Bb] our community, seeing the growth from four to about 24, [Gm] and the [Fm] average
age being just [Bb] 30 years old, full of energy, with incredible [Eb] backgrounds and all kinds [G] of personalities.
[Em] [Am]
[D] [Em] Preparing for and recording this album has been pure joy.

[E] One thing that struck me as soon as I entered the chapel and heard them singing is they
have a sound, a very, very special sound.
[D] And it took me a while, but there's no [A] ego here.
They're sisters.
[Dm]
And I think [Gbm] that's reflected in [Gb] their music making.
It's an incredibly cohesive [D] sound they make.
It's like [Bb] silk.
I [E] was just telling one of the sisters, [C] they were saying the chapel makes them [G] sound good,
but the reality is they sing and the chapel sings with them.
Here's this choir as [D] talented as any that I've worked with.
[Bm] And so [Em] this is a very special opportunity, I think, for people that hear this recording,
to [B] hear something quite special and sincere.
[Bm]
[G] [D] [Bm] [Em] When I was selecting [B] the music for the recording, I [Em] wanted to give the chance to [E] experience
Christmas at the [Dm] Motherhouse, in a sense, to experience [E] that prayerful and yet [D] joyous
experience of Christmas.
[Gb]
The experience of being up there conducting with the sisters [D] has been so different from
what I [E] expected.
The [G] sound that they exude is just [Eb] so beautiful.
You know behind every voice and every word [Eb] [Gm] is a real prayer.
