Jam Along & Learn...
It's always been a band and I hope it always [D] is a band.
believe me.
a reflection of whoever is in the band at that time.
is really expected to bring their own personality into the band.
All of Jethro Tull's musicians have had a very all-round approach to the way they've played.
it is playing within a band rather than being a bunch of solo performers that each get their little slot.
It's never been that way.
particular way.

_ _ _ _ _ It's always been a band and I hope it always [D] is a band.
It takes [N] the team effort, believe me.
_ _ The band is a reflection of whoever is in the band at that time.
And _ everybody _ _ is really expected to bring their own personality into the band. _ _ _ _
All of Jethro Tull's musicians have had a very all-round approach to the way they've played.
So it is playing within a band rather than being a bunch of solo performers that each get their little slot. _ _
It's never been that way.
I hear the bass in a very particular way.
_ It's like, I don't know, _ it's stealth.
Stealth bass player, you know.
_ You don't see him but you feel him. _
Initially I had to _ interpret and reinterpret the parts of all the great drummers who came before me.
But [Ab] listening to the music, it was important for me to keep the flavor and the identity of the original pieces.
But to be able to play something that also _ _ fell quite naturally under my own hands.
I've always thought that if I went to see my favorite band, I'd actually want to hear the [E] songs recreated as they are on the record.
So I try very hard to listen to what's going [G] on and recreating those parts.
_ _ We'd actually have a string quartet coming along to do a couple of acoustic tracks. _ _
_ _ [G] _ And it's nice working with those tonal qualities, working with [D] that real emotional [Eb] thing.
_ _ _ [Cm] _ _ _ _ _
[Bb] How we _ [Gm] feel [F] _ today
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[Eb] _ _ Last night's [Cm] episode _ _
_ _ [Eb] My _ [Bb] head in [F] the air
_ _ _ [G] _ _ _
_ _ [C] _ _ _ [F] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [Eb] _ _
We are [F] our own saviors
As we [Bb] _ start
[Gm] Both our _ hearts beating [Gm] _ live _ _
[Bb] _ _ _ Into [F] each _ _ other _ _ _ _ _ _
[Eb] _ _ _ Wondering [Cm] around _
_ [Eb] Will the [Bb] air treat [F] us well _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [Eb] _ _ As she floats in [Cm] the kitchen
_ _ _ [Bb] I'm _ tasting [F] the smell Here _
_ _ [Gm] _ _ _ [F] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[Eb] _ _ Up [F] towards the butter lens
[Bb] Then she _ comes
[F] Spilling crumbs _ [Gm] on the _ bed
_ _ [Bb] _ _ And I shake [F] my head _ _ _ _ _
_ _ And it's [Fm] only [Eb] the getting [Bb] that makes you
_ [Gm] _ What _ _ [C] you are _ _
[F] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
