[B]
Oh, [C#] [F#] this way.
[N]
That was perfect.
Now have a seat.
That was lovely.
Thank you.
How are you feeling?
You all right?
I know last time you were here, right after that you had a bad accident.
Tell people what happened.
I got bucked from a horse, a colt.
You know, my boyfriend's a rodeo rider.
And I was like, are you sure I should get on this horse?
Is it safe?
And he said, it won't buck, I guarantee.
And I made it about, I made the whistle twice.
There was no pickup, man.
I was, a friend of mine was there to take pictures.
And he ended up having enough time to take a picture with three different cameras.
So what did you do?
What damage did you do?
I broke my collarbone. How?
About three more weeks until it's better.
And I dislocated a rib and broke another rib.
Ah.
Yeah.
Oh, I don't hear enough sympathy.
There you go.
Now, did you go right to the hospital?
No, actually we sat there.
There was a branding going on.
There were all these cowboys that came from all over the country to help work the calves and doctor them.
And so there's nothing you can do for a broken collarbone.
So they tied my shoulder back with a bed sheet to align the bone.
And they gave me a couple Advil and I sat there and watched the branding for four hours.
Really?
And then we drove two hours on a very bumpy highway to the doctor's office in Dallas.
So it was a really long day.
Oh, wow.
That is a long day.
Now, are you trying to be the tough cowgirl?
Like, I'm going to cry, I'm going to be tough.
I was pretty embarrassed.
I was embarrassed.
There were so many cowboys there.
But there's nothing you can do about it, you know.
I guess that's the way life is.
Is that why you're not playing guitar?
Yeah, I can't really play guitar.
I bought one of those, I just thought I'd buy one of those videos that you see on TV, the Pop and Lock.
Like, you know the one N'Sync uses, the Pop and Lock.
Have you guys seen that video on TV?
I was going to polish up my dance moves.
I haven't gotten very far, obviously, as you can tell.
So I guess riding bull is out of the question.
Yeah, no riding bulls for me.
But it's been cool.
I got to tour.
I didn't cancel the tour.
I just toured anyway.
We started this thing called Soul City Cafe.
Yeah.
Where you guys have probably noticed, like, there's only a certain kind of music on the radio.
And I found all these really cool singer-songwriters that could be maybe one day like Lou Reeds or Billy Joel.
And I'm taking them all on the road with me.
So my opening acts are all unknown, unsigned acts.
Oh, that's cool.
That's real nice.
Yeah.
That's very cool.
Well, congratulations, Rebecca.
I'm glad you're feeling okay.
A speedy recovery.
This way is the new CD.
Say hi to Ty for me.
Tell him that joke.
How'd you get that joke?
Ty, we got a [G#] joke for you.
Don't forget.
[D] Be right back, right after this.
