After all those rehearsals,
and it all came together really [Gm] nicely, I thought, at the end.
It was exciting for me because I really hadn't met anybody.
[G] I think you were the only one
that I knew.
So for [Gm] me, there's a bit of not knowing what to expect, and that gives it
[Cm] a different kind of energy [Gm] and spontaneity.
Playing with musicians that you haven't played
with [Eb] before, I don't know, did you feel that as well?
[G] I like playing with other [Gm] musicians because they bring something to your music that I
don't think you [Eb] expect.
In rehearsal, part of the [F] rehearsals are like you have a little
attention [D] on getting your music to sound at least the way [A] you think it should sound, [Gm] and
then you kind of [Dm] branch out after everybody [C] learns the piece and then brings what they
know to it, and it grows.
