I have three, and I married my high school sweetheart from El Cerrito.
20 years this year _ anniversary in terms of marriage, and of course, [C] we started going together in 1962.
So, 27 years together.

[A] Can you tell us a little bit about your musical career?
_ Well, John and I started the band in Portla.
This is all right there in El Cerrito.
Which band?
That was the Blue Velvet.
That was Stu Cook, myself, and John.
_ And then we started, and then Tom's older brother came in later.
We have sold 100 million albums plus, and we still do real well.
And it's our [G] 20th anniversary too since our first release of our [D] first record.
And this is Creedence Clearwater Revival?

_ _ [Am] Okay, do you have any words of wisdom to share?

_ _ [G] My words of wisdom are, _ be philosophical.
_ Treat yourself fairly.
_ Drink as much as you can.
Have as much sex as you can, because we ain't [C] getting any younger.

In my mind, [G] much more than [D] anybody else's.
You know, they were off of college for a few years.
My brother [D] Tom had a day job and was married.
[A] I mean, the only person [G] for much of that time that thought of it as a [D] group was me. _
_ And even though I would go off and play with other T.I.T..s, which _ is neither right nor wrong. It's just I happened to be sort of a shy, _ _ _ _ [Eb] I don't know, shy and kind of _ _ scared person. _ _ _ _ The other guys in Creedence were a little bit more, shall I say, _ _ experimental. _ Maybe even reckless sometimes. But, _ I mean, that was the time. You know, I don't really find, _ _ I don't find a big fault with that, not really. But the _
