Hey everyone, it's Johnny Orlando
and this is RDU On The Spot.
My favorite home cooked meal is probably my dad's pasta.
You know Italian dads that make their pasta
[Ab] and their pasta sauce and meatballs.
Very good combo.
Probably one of my favorite dishes ever.
My favorite song to cover is Never Let You Go
by Justin Bieber.
[N] Performed at every concert for the last two years.
Great song.
My favorite Disney song is Let It Go from Frozen
and [Bb] then Aladdin is A Whole New World.
That is a great song and I always just like,
I always bump it when I'm just cleaning my,
no I'm just kidding, but [F] great song.
The singer or singers I'm most inspired by
are some fellow Canadians [Bb] like Bieber
and Shawn Mendes and The Weeknd and Drake.
These guys work super hard
and hopefully I can be like them one day.
My dream collaboration is Drake, I think.
He's [Gb] amazing with lyrics,
which is one of my favorite parts of making music.
The most surprisingly energetic [F] city
that I've ever performed in was Dublin.
Everybody was screaming and jumping
and [Bb] everybody knew the songs, it was crazy.
The first instrument that I have ever [Gb] played
was a [F] trumpet in fifth grade.
I got it for a school band.
But the first instrument that I got on my own
that I played a lot was a guitar
[Bb] and then now I play piano as well too.
My first real performance with mics
and people that [F] bought tickets and all that jazz
[Gb] was in 2015 in Santa Ana for Winter Lights.
The first person I would play a new song [Bb] for
would probably be my dad.
He really likes music.
He's the one that showed me all of his really old music
when I was little and I loved it.
But he has a really good ear for it
and I know that he would never steer me
in the wrong direction, so my dad.
The last person I FaceTimed was probably
either my mom or Mackenzie Ziegler.
I'm John Orlando [F] and that was RDU On The Spot.
I'm a professional musician.
