_ [A] _ _ [E] mean I started out playing acoustic music and I [D] taught [A] regularly.
In fact I was still teaching at this music store in San Jose the first year the airplane was together.
I made more money giving guitar lessons than I did with the airplane.
So that was always sort of lurking in the [D] wings, you know.
But you know, me and the guys and gals in the airplane, we were so lucky because it
was a talented bunch of folks.
But if you don't get lucky nothing happens.
And we, you know, within months of getting together we had a record deal and all this
kind of stuff.
And we all know that doesn't really happen.
And you know we got all caught up in the [A] electric thing.
But the acoustic, the wooden world of music was always sort of waiting in the wings for me.
And I enjoy playing electric guitar today.
I don't do it as much as I did back then obviously.
But when I'm home I almost never take an electric guitar out of the case unless I've bought
some new piece of gear I need to look at.
But the acoustic guitar, _ I've got two out of their case in the house, you know.
And it's just with me at all times.
