That's a truth that [B] I think we all need to own.
This isn't me sitting here pointing fingers at you, because I'm part of [N] this culture,
too.
I was born into this culture. _
But I'm realizing more and more that if we're willing, we need to think critically about
how we live our lives, even if we are removed from those who are being exploited, even if
we never see them.
The fact is the way we live our life affects the world.
_ _ _ [D] When it costs more to make something than it does to buy it here, there's some inequity.
[G#] Someone's not getting paid.
_ There's a [D] lot of slavery in the world, and I think [G] simple things we can do now can start
to change that.
But [E] for those of you who even want to get more [C#m] radical, I think _ _ [A#] things need to change. _
We've been [D#] placed in a culture where we can make [C] some of those decisions. _
