Now tell me, what was the outcome of that for you?
Well, it was really fun to do.
Me and Steve really enjoy working together.
But also it's led to a lot of other opportunities.
I have a clothing line now called Josie Loves J.
Valentine.
And it's, you know, it's been fun.
It's like introduced me to a [Am] whole bunch of different things that I never thought I'd do before.
Now one of the [B] episodes that really stands out, not only to me, but to a lot of people, is the Hello Kitty on the tour bus.
My _ [E] favorites.
And Steve could like [N] tell you whatever he wants.
He loves Hello Kitty.
Don't let him fool you.
Well hey, my ex-girlfriend loved Hello Kitty and we went into the store all the time.
I'm not ashamed to say I like it.
Yeah, would you play a Hello Kitty guitar?
I would.
Well how about the [C] Bats Maroo one?
Ah, well, [E] you know what?
That's a good one.
And it's black so it's a manly one.
There you go.
Bats [B] Maroo was always like the angry Hello Kitty character.
That's right.
Idol Tour 2012.
We'll get him a Bats [A] Maroo.
Oh yeah, you're going to force him to play that [C] on stage.
I will force.
You know, he didn't like the [Ab] Hello Kitty guitar maybe as much at first.
But as soon as he saw [G] all the girls in the audience, he was like, [D] Hello Kitty!
Now he loves it.
I see the controversy in that.
[E] Rock and roll is about being able to [C] express yourself [Ab] artistically any way you want.
Exactly, exactly.
You know what I mean?
I see now more people have played him.
I've seen a picture with Slash with the Hello Kitty guitar, Dave Navarro.
Slash!
I did.
I don't know if he played on stage, but I saw a picture of him holding it.
I got all excited.
I was like, look babe, Slash plays it, Dave plays it.
Now tell me how you and Steve met.
We met through a mutual friend.
Where we met was naughty.
I don't know if that's appropriate.
_ We want to hear it.
Alright, we met at the Pleasure Chest on Santa Monica Boulevard.
It's not that naughty.
It's a little naughty.
If you saw what he was buying, you know.
Just kidding.
But yeah, that's where we met.
Who'd think, you know, we'd wind up married now.
How do you like married life?
I love it.
I love it.
He makes me so happy.
We've been married three years now, together ten.
So, keeping him around.
What is the secret to rock and roll monogamy?
I think you just got to keep things interesting.
You know, I think you have to go the extra mile.
And I think that you can't [C] get jealous.
Because jealousy is [B] like death in any relationship.
But [N] especially when you're going to be away and there's traveling.
You have to take that sort of energy and [C] use it to make your relationship more exciting.
Instead of letting it tear you apart because [D] you get crazy and paranoid.
Well, I think a lot of that probably has to do with your [Db] confidence level.
So, do you think you have a great [G] confidence level?
I think with Tim, I'm pretty confident.
[D] You know, _ [N] I'm not feeling it today.
And then he makes me feel good.
That's what you got to do when you're in love.
Anybody who says they never feel jealous or insecure is a liar.
Because it's like a human nature.
But you just have to know how to take that and turn it into a positive thing.
Like, ooh, that hot girl thinks my man's hot.
Well, I'm going to show him who's hot.
[G] Instead of it being like, why did you look at her?
You can't let it [C] turn into a negative aspect of your relationship.
Tell me, let's talk about your makeup must-haves.
Makeup must-haves.
And name them.
Alright, [N] I will name them.
I love Lime Crime lipstick.
They have a million fun colors.
I love Stila everything.
Especially their glitter eyeliner.
And, hmm, what else is a must [C]-have?
Fake lashes.
And my favorite is Eyelure.
They just came over from England.
Amazing lashes.
Cool.
And you like those better than Ardell's?
I like Ardell's [B] too, but yeah, Eyelure is my favorite.
[Bb] I'm a makeup artist.
And then what about your foundation?
[C] My foundation, today I'm wearing MAC, but I also like Armani.
[N] So Armani's really good.
Do you wear the light, medium, or full coverage of the Armani foundation?
I usually wear the medium.
Sometimes for photo shoots, full [Bb] coverage.
And [N] do you set that with MAC Studio Fix?
I do not, [Eb] actually.
I like YSL Powder.
It's the kind you grind.
Have you seen?
It's like a press and it's got a razor in it and [N] you twist it and it turns it loose.
So it's like pressed to loose.
And then [Gb] tell me about your clothing line.
[D] What makes it unique?
[Dm] Well, I think that we really captured a [N] lot of styles from rock and roll.
So I'm really influenced by Tokyo street fashion.
So there's a lot of like really cute, kawaii [Gm] stuff.
This is actually all from my line, head to toe.
Oh, really?
[N] This is all_
Jay Valentine outfit, yeah.
Cool.
And one of the things, let's get just a [Db] shot of this real quick.
Is [Bb] these shoes.
If they could talk, [D] they probably would.
They would.
They'd say something that like Rob Halford would say.
They'd say they're hell bent for leather.

You [Bm] know what?
I would think if you were walking [Bb] down a dark alley, they would be very [Bm] sorry for messing
with you with these shoes on.
Well, see, that's why I wore my Steve's security [Dm] today.
