_ _ _ _ _ _ Well, we have been home, as Phil has already said, two weeks.
And when we came home, _ we were talking and realized the severity of the situation in our world.
We were seeing the news and it was, you know, we've all seen it and we know what they were talking about.
And I said to Phil, you know, things could be shutting down quickly.
We need to get our thinking caps on.
And we were talking greatly about different things.
And I came home and I just sit down.
I was sat down.
I was just very tired and we'd had a long weekend.
And I picked up my phone and a lady that many of you know, Lisa Turkhurst, was speaking.
And we were two or three days into this social distancing and kind of being _ hibernating,
rather, in our homes.
And she began to talk about _ reframing her disappointments.
She was talking about people that she knew that their plans had been canceled and weddings
had been canceled.
And we all know people in our lives that things have gotten canceled.
And it's just one of those things we're all dealing with it.
But then she made a statement on there that caught my attention. _
She said, but there are some things that have not been canceled.
And she made a statement that joy had not been canceled.
And I've got to think and my brain went crazy.
And I thought, oh my, of all of the uncertainties in this world, everything that we don't know
what the outcome is going to be.
There's many of us that don't know, many of you that don't know what the outcomes, many
of you have lost your jobs.
You know, we could just go on and on.
We're all dealing with this.
But it made me begin to count my blessings, that there are some things in life that are
sure there are some things in life that never change.
They never, ever, ever go away. _
God's love, his peace, his kindness, his goodness, his faithfulness, his mercy.
And my soul began to just bubble over and I began to count my blessings.
And I said, you know, we are going to praise the Lord through this because one, he's so
good, he's so worthy.
And you know, why would we start worrying now when he's never failed us and he has a
perfect track record?
All of us.
He has a perfect track record of always keeping his promises.
And so because of that, I went into the piano room and thoughts just started coming to me.
It's simple, but it encouraged my heart because the [Eb] things that really matter, _ they're [Abm] still intact.
I want you [Gb] to listen.

changed.
