Hi, my name is M.
Griner for ChartAttack.com and happy holidays from M and I.
[G]
[C] [G] [C] So hello everybody.
I should introduce you guys.
This is Badger Saw.
[G] And Badger Saw is about eight years old and is still just a child.
[Bb] And [Eb] saws are actually born [Bb] at a certain age and stay that age the rest of their lives.
So Badger is actually always going to be a child but being eight is also a child [F] in human years.
And had never sung for people before and got to sing in front of people this summer for the first time.
And was incredibly nervous and excited and [G] did it and it went really great.
[C] And then really, really got giddy about it and wanted to sing more and more.
And just really, [Bb] really very much wanted to come on these travels.
And so despite its young age I let it come to sing for you guys.
So what Badger is going to sing for you guys [F] now is actually a song that was, a lot of people [Eb] don't know this,
but it was actually [Cm] written, [Bb] Celeste Stallone, it was written by Celeste Stallone when he was actually four years old.
[Cm] He was a child prodigy on the violin.
And he actually [F] appeared on the Ed Sullivan show twice.
And not a lot of people know about this.
And this was actually a melody he [N] would write these songs on parchment.
[F] And he was actually headed towards a really [Bb] terrific career as a violinist.
Except that [N] he never cut his fingernails because he was also involved in the sport of fruit hanging.
Which was sort of like an Olympic qualifier sport for a while.
And he actually was such a great fruit hanger that he kind of got into that.
[A] And it [F] didn't get accepted as an Olympic sport.
But he was really the best fruit hanger in the [D] world.
Except for this one Swiss guy.
But anyway, [Bbm] there was a parchment that [F] ended up in a thrift store.
And somebody [Gm] ended up sewing it into a hat which was given to Ella Fitzgerald.
That was how this song was first introduced to the world.
And [A] so Badger is going to sing it for you.
