_ What a lucky day it was for me when Jeff Wayne called me about recording the song Forever Autumn
as part of the War of the Worlds album.
Maybe it was a lucky day for both of us.
But I also ended up doing another song on the album called The Eve of the War
and both of these songs have taken me around the world really,
particularly Forever Autumn, in that I can go anywhere in the world and play this song
and people will know it.
And it's a privilege to have done the original version of Forever Autumn.
