[Ebm] [F]
There is a book, it's a book of life.
It has a name to the ones who are born by the blood of Christ.
[D] This precious book, [Bb] it never fades.
[F] And every page is a story of those who have been saved.
[C] I've had my [Bb] life, [F] it's written there.
[C] I've lived with a [Bb] man, I've [F] dealt with her.
[Dm] God took a pill [Bb] and he wrote it down.
[F] Among the saints, once lost but found.
So when [Cm] the judgment [C] day, [G] when he [Bb] takes over.
[F] Be sure he finds [Bb] you in [F] the book.
[C] [Fm]
There is a book, it's a book of life.
[F] It has a name to the ones who are born by the blood of Christ.
[Abm] [Dm] And in this book, [Bb] there's room for more.
[F] For those who are weak to the call, may not from your heart soar.
[C] I've had my life, [Bb] [F] it's written there.
[C] I've lived with [Bb] a [F] man, I've dealt with her.
[Dm] God took a pill and [Bb] he wrote it down.
[F] Among the saints, once lost but found.
[C] On the judgment day, when [Bb] he takes over.
Be [F] sure he finds you in the book.
In [C] the [Bb] book, [F] in the book.
It's there in the [Fm] book.
[F] It's there to stay, and it makes me shout.
It's there to stay, and it makes me shout.
It's there to stay, and it makes me shout.
In prayer my lonely heart's not hanging, it can't be bothered.
[C] I've had my [Bb] life, [F] it's written there.
[C] I've lived with [Bb] a man, I've [F] dealt with her.
God [Dm] took a [Bb] pill and he wrote it down.
[F] Among the saints, once lost but found.
So on [C] the judgment day, when [Bb] he takes over.
[F] Be sure he finds [Bb] you in the [F] book.
[Ab] You can add your [F] names in the lamb's book of life.
There is a book, it's a book of life.
It has a name to the ones who are bound by [Bb] the blood of [F] Christ.
[N] I will tell y'all, I am so thankful that my name is in the lamb's book of life.
That song was inspired, the writing was from our trips to Israel.
We have some Israel friends down here.
And we want to just let you all know how much we [Ebm] appreciate the NQC.
[Bb] Thank y'all so much for being so sweet.
[B] Somebody has to be last.
[Gb] And so thank you [N] all.
You're just precious to stay.
And we love NQC.
It's one of the highlights of our year.
And we want to do a song for you that you'll be hearing on the radio.
And we hope you're already [Dm] hearing it on the radio.
[N] I had the privilege, we had the privilege and the honor of being at the church where Calvin Ray Evans was preaching.
And he had not preached [Ab] in a very long time because he'd been very [Db] sick.
And he stepped up to the podium and he, [Abm] on the morning, his first morning back [F] of not preaching for a while.
And he had a list and he said, I'm going [Eb] to list [Abm] some jobs here.
[Gb] I'm going to just tell you about the keepers.
[Cm] And he said, these are [F] the people that never want to be [Db] recognized.
[Eb] They never want their names said out loud.
So I'm not going to say their names.
But he says, so I just want to list [Fm] the keepers.
For [Abm] a solid hour he talked about the keepers.
The people that work behind [Ebm] the scenes that never get recognized.
[Abm] For all the people that greet people when they come into the doors [Dbm] of the church, you're a keeper.
[E] For those that [B] stand out in the parking lot and direct [Db] traffic, you're keepers.
For those in [Abm] the church that give anonymously, you're keepers.
And he just kept going on and on.
And it inspired me so much that the next week in a [Eb] writing session, [Fm] I [Abm] was with writers Tony Wood and Mitch Wong.
And I said, y'all, I heard this [Eb] song.
I mean, I heard this [Cm] sermon about the [Ab] keepers.
And they said, I think we've got a song.
[F] And we're debuting this video for the first time this [Bb] week.
Thanks [Ab] to Chandler Bauckham.
And [Eb] these are the [Abm] keepers.
And I know you're going to think about the people that you know.
How many of those keepers?
And so many of you here tonight are keepers.
I want you to listen.
