I went through a very tough season of my life.
I've had two back surgeries, [F#] _ and it was really hard to go through all of that.
But the one thing that I always clung on to [B] was prayer, _ because that was my lifeline.
I was talking to God, [D#m] and I was saying, you know, I was asking all the hard questions.
I was being like, why God?
Why is this happening?
But the thing is, is that He never failed to give me an answer.
_ The thing is, is that a lot of times, [F#] the things in my life that happened,
they didn't happen in the timing I wanted them to happen.
They didn't [C#] happen in the way that I wanted them to happen.
But the thing is, is that God was so present.
You know, my first back surgery, _ _ I was in excruciating pain every single day when I came out.
[B] And that lasted for three years.
_ I don't know what your three years [F#] is, but the thing is, is that God was so present.
[B] And He doesn't waste a single _ second of that time.
[F#] _ By the time I had the second surgery, God gifted me with a [D#m] miracle.
I came out of that surgery on something called scoliosis, and it's a curvature in your spine.
And the [B] first surgery was to correct that and to make it straight.
And the thing is, is that it caused [F#] a lot of pain.
And so I had a second surgery to remove all of that hardware.
And the thing is, is that when I [C#] came out of the surgery, _ _
my spine was actually straighter without the metal rods excruciating it. _ _

[F#] And you know what?
It [F#] doesn't take those gigantic miracles to see God.
But I praise Him every day for that.
But the thing is, is that if we're not looking, we won't even see the little miracles that He just puts here and there.
_ And those are just as great.
And our God is really great.
