My next guest now is regarded as one of Ireland's finest songwriters, very polished entertainer indeed.

He discovered his singing ability when he was working in Germany laying concrete floors
and he began to sing around the bars and do a bit of songwriting and then
he came home and you remember the Woman's Heart tour and Francis Black and all of those lovely
people, that launched him into the limelight and earlier this year he returned to do a solo effort
[N] and he had a very very successful Irish tour and recorded his new album recently which is called
New Day.
