As you all might know, I have a VC-15 right over here, which used to take the place_ _
which used to be here.
So I love the Langley amp [N] a whole lot, and that VC-15 was made in the UK.
It was one of the few earlier models.
_ This is, however, built in_
or manufactured in China,
but it's engineered and designed by the same company, Langley, from the UK.
Interesting amp.
It features a 15 watts of power,
AB tube power, and also features a 12 inch speaker.
These are specially designed for this amp.
It has a 3-band EQ, _ has a reverb built in, master volume,
and then you have an option via foot switch to have a boost.
That is so good.
So the boost knob is indicated by the red knob.
That's the boost, and you can set how much boost you want when you [Eb] kick in the pedal.
[F] And then of course you have the gain, which can translate to a heavier _ [C] sound, overdriven [C] sound.
And you [G] also have a _ [D] two-stage input.
You can [F] have it at 1 watt [F] or the full [C] 50 watt,
meaning [F] this amplifier is _ so suited for this place,
because, you know me, I don't want to play too loud because my [C] neighbors will not be too happy.
[G] So playing at 1 watt, I can [D] get the desired tone without _ _ blessing my [C] ears, or blessing anyone [Dm] else's ears.
So that's a good option [F] to have.
This amplifier also features [F] an effects loop, so you can hook up your time-based unit to that [C] effects loop,
and the rest of the stuff pre _ -amped.
[Gm] So it's _ an amplifier that's made to gig,
[D] and if you want to have it [Gm]
[F] installed in your home for practice, good amp too.
I like my VC-15 because it's compact and it [Dm] sounded really good.
[Bb] This has the same feel to it, although it's a modern take on it.
The amp features _ [E] 3x12AX7 and a pair of [Ab] EL84 on the tube section,
and they're [G] really warm [Fm] sounding.
_ [Am] It [G] almost sounds the same as my VC-15, _
[C] except for the fact that it has a boost [F] control there, which is really nice to have.
_ So tell me what you think about [Dm] this amp,
and I'm guessing that some of you [G] might have this amp _ in your [C] homes,
and [F] some of you are probably gigging [Fm] with this amp.
