[F]
[Bb] [Eb] [Bb]
[F] [Dm]
[D] My process to get [G] to my tone, I [Dm] have to feel comfortable.
I used [Gm] to say that when I feel like home, [F] that's my tone.
[Bb] [Eb]
[G]
[D]
[Eb] [F] I went to law school in Brazil [G] and I took the bar and I practiced law for about a year max.
I never stopped making music.
All the time I was [Bb] doing both things and [F] at some point I had to give up [C] on law because
[G] music was really happening and it was easy to choose.
[D]
My [Bm] dad has been a great influence for me in my life in so many aspects [D] and he's a lawyer
as well and he influenced me in that too.
My dad is a very musical guy.
[Bm] He loves to write songs, he loves to sing and he plays the guitar as well.
He taught me my first chords [D] on an acoustic guitar when I was around [D] 8 years old.
So that's when I fell in love with the instrument.
[Bb] [D] There's something very captivating about the guitar.
First of all, when you look to a guitar, there's something that makes you want to pick up that instrument.
[Bb]
There's something magical.
[D] [Em] Musically, [D] I'm always trying to [G] make a statement.
I have to [E] have something to say.
[Bm] I want it to be [G]
understandable.
I'm always trying to [D] develop my [A] melodies and my songs in a way that people [B] are able, [Bm] the
listener are able [A] to understand it.
So that [D] might be the biggest challenge for me in music.
My
[B] [B] first experience [A] with Seymour Duncan, a friend of [G] mine walked in [E] the studio with a
beautiful sparkling [G] Telecaster and [D] the bridge pickup and it was a hot rail, Seymour Duncan.
And when I first [G] played that guitar, I had a very special experience and [D] that's when
I [E] became a fan of Seymour Duncan pickups.
[B] And I ended up buying that guitar.
[Cm] [Eb] [F]
So I'm [Db] using [Bbm] the 5HU [Ab] set for Tele and Stratocaster.
[Gm] Also [Fm] I have [Eb] another Stratocaster [Bb] loaded with [Fm] the [Db] Antiquity Texas Hot singles [Bb] and the Saturday
Night [Db] Special Humbucker.
[Cm] They're [Ab] awesome.
[Bb] [Eb]
[Fm] [Eb] [Cm]
Tone [Eb] for me is [F] like [G]
my DNA, is like [Eb] my musical [F] personality, [Gm] is like my musical character.
[Eb] It's something that I [F] think you cannot [Gm] hide from anyone [Eb] and at the same [F] time makes you [G]
recognizable.
I [Eb] have to feel [F] like confident [Gm] that my pickups will translate [Eb] what I have [F] in my mind, what
I [Gm] try to find [Eb] through the pedals [F] and everything [Gm] comes out through the pickups.
So I have [Eb] to have this [F] confidence in the pickups and that's [C] why I chose Seymour Duncan.
